Here's the before (pic is from the listing when we bought the house) And here's the after: We still need to do some work, like paint the doors and we're getting quotes for the front porch, so it's not quite there, but getting close! Two questions. 1. Front door? I found these two pictures as some options to consider. 2. The side door along the driveway is currently the tan that our house just was. Do we paint this door and if so what color? Should it match the front door color we choose? There's a screen door on it and that will get painted white. Thoughts?! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Your house is amazing in that blue!! Love it. I like the rust door, and I would use the same color on the side.
I'm over red doors, but that option looks good, too.

I like the blue steel and the plum, but I LOVE the bright peachy one. LOVE it!
And I would paint the side door the same color as the front.
Also you're house is so cute! I love the color you picked!

It looks so amazing! I love the blue colour that you chose, and cleaning up the schrubs in front really make the house inviting! Good work!
As far as door colours, I was immediately drawn to the plum, and my vote is a no on the steel blue. But honestly with all the colours you have here, they'd all look great.
And like pp, I'm kind of over the red door phase, I'd get sick of it quickly.

How would you feel about a stained wood door instead of painting?

Ahhhh that style of house is my favorite. The blue looks so good!! I'm crushing on the peach color hard, but also intrigued by starbuck's stained wood suggestion.

Love your house, the blue is beautiful! I'm drawn to the red door. Either way, I'd do both doors the same.

Oooh nice YES This is like my dream! I'd love the wood door and would change ours in a heartbeat to something more fancy. With winters being so cold here we really need that screen door on. Would this this still be an option? Stupid Wisconsin really cramps our decorating style! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I love the wood door but understand the cold weather plight. And you couldn't just paint that. So it would either be stripping and staining or buying new.
I love the rust color. It definitely has an excellent subtle pop. And I would do both doors the same color.

tjanca22 do you have a better picture of your door? The storm door doesn't look too intrusive from what I can see so it might be ok. When we replaced our door, we added a storm door that wasn't there before and we picked one with two pieces. It cuts the door right in half and doesn't look great.

When we replaced our door, we added a storm door that wasn't there before and we picked one with two pieces. It cuts the door right in half and doesn't look great. I'll take a picture when I get home. The front door, which is a full pane of glass, might actually work, but the side door has the half door/half glass storm door which I don't think would look as good. Thanks for all the suggestions everyone. I'm off next week and will be painting doors. H's pick is the rust color and I'm really leaning towards the peachy color. Stay tuned! The side door...where does it lead into in the house? Kitchen?
I ask because we replaced out full pane glass storm door from the kitchen to one that was full glass, but cut in half with screen on the bottom. That comes in handy when we are frying bacon or something gets burned or it's just a nice night to let some fresh air in but keep bugs out. Full glass looks cleaner, for sure tho.

Side door leads to a set of 4 steps up to the kitchen, or down to the basement. It's a typical 1930s bungalow where all the stairs are at the back of the house. If you go up the 4 steps, there's a door which lands you in our kitchen. The door at the top of the 4 stairs is almost always closed because it's narrow space in the house. #oldhouseproblems Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
