Anyone go through an embolization procedure? I’m currently trying out medicine to control symptoms, but it’s not working well and can potentially cause my hypertension to not be as well-controlled as it currently is. So an embolization may be in my near future. I just want to know what to expect. Did you have an overnight stay? What was recovery like?

I don't have experience or advice, but I hope if you do have to fo that route, it goes textbook perfectly.

I had a laparoscopic hysterectomy five years ago for uterine fibroids, so not exactly the same but I did not stay overnight, and the recovery was pretty straight forward. If I recall, it was a week of being mostly in bed with ice packs, and then probably another month of being careful lifting things/working out, etc.
