I saw a post on Bluesky over the weekend about Stephen Colbert running for POTUS solely to end the programs that misappropriated Tolkien.
He would never do it, but it got a smile out of me.
And also, there is no way he could be worse than Felon.

I won’t be surprised if The Daily Show gets pulled after last night. My husband and I were dying. The f bombs weren’t being censored and they were just flying. I loved every second of it. (Obviously) I think the whole Daily Show team is seriously like F this. If they cancel us, so be it. Everyone is kissing his ass and doing what he wants and we aren’t going to just fall in line. I love when they call him Lord Farquaad. Or that he is basically suing Fox News while they are in the middle of blowing him.

Speaker Johnson also canceled votes for Thursday and is sending the House home early for summer recess. I'm sure it's in no way to avoid and distract from the Epstein files.
