Morning girls! C2 went to the NICU at 3am. He's ok, low blood sugar and body temperature but they're keeping him there, likely for the day. I walked at 12am for the first time and they took out my catheter this morning. I'm really hoping to take a shower and wear my own clothes today. Big goals!

Yesterday when the boys got home from school Atticus ran into the house and said, "Mama, it's August. It's Xander's birthday!" Then he started singing the birthday song and told him all about the special cupcakes we were going to make but he has to keep eating his fruits and veggies so he will have super vegan muscles, too. It was adorable.

So today was the day. I gave my boss the news. I cant even believe what a softie I have become. I started crying! I am the person who has always been a total ice queen and never shows my emotions, so that came as surprise to me. My boss was so sweet and gracious, saying she is genuinely happy for me and that she knows I have a bright future ahead of me and my potential would prolly be held back here. It is good to have this load off my shoulders and tgrimes , I did not shit my pants, thank God. =D |

Good morning! Cher hope all is back to normal for C2 today and your feeding goes wonderfully. yummeecookee glad you got that over with. It is never easy, and I am really glad you didn't crap your pants. cagoldi, #goals. I can't function in the morning any more than getting myself and the kids ready. Throw in exercise at the very beginning and my whole day would be whacked. |

I had an interview yesterday, and I think I knocked it out of the park, but I probably won't take it. shrug. It would be an extra five hours of driving a week, and that time is precious to me now. Gotta see my kids and husband and go to the gym some time.
