rebeccabunch It's true! Staying well hydrated is definitely good for the skin, and your muscles for sure! Keep up the good work. : )

Took DS to the fair for a couple hours again today. He loved the enclosed play area next to the children's barn! He played in there for about a half hour, while I ate a burger and fries (shared with him of course). After that we walked around some more, looked at the animals, and watch a short BMX show. Before leaving, we walked through the rides area just to look, and DS spotted the carousel. So, I bought some tickets and took him on his first fair ride. I had no idea how he'd react, but he loved it! I stood next to him while he rode a horse, and he thought it was the best thing ever. Tomorrow is supposed to be a rainy day, but I think we'll try going again on Friday so I can get some mini donuts. I love the fair!

Trying to get caught up from the last few days. Work has been super busy and it will just keep getting busier throughout the month of August as we prepare for the academic year. Sorry I haven't been posting, but I'm think of everyone and trying to send support via LTs. August Blooms, I was so excited to see your news! I LOVE WAWA! We had one near campus in college. We have some in NJ now, but none that are super close to me. If I see one I have to stop. There is one near my endocrinologist so I always go after my appointments- looking forward to next week! Taitai, i am seriously coveting those chocolates. I've been trying to drink more water. I just get too distracted during the day. Then I drink to much in the evening/at night and pee a million times. I tried the plant nanny app, it was fun but I was the worst.

thatgirlrachel I tried keeping a water bottle today on my desk and had a lot of success! I went to Walmart and got a 32 oz tumbler and straw as I think I'll be more likely to sip throughout the day. Thanks everyone for the suggestions on hydration. Being this pregnant in the summer is so different from my March15 baby!!!!

We don't have Wawa gas stations here, so I'll stick with the water theme. I've always been pretty good about drinking it, but since becoming obsessed with La Croix during my first pregnancy it's taken more discipline to drink regular water instead of just grabbing a can of La Croix whenever I'm thirsty. I try to just keep a big jug of ice water on my desk throughout the day. The pee problems are real though. Nonstop. Also, hi everyone. It's been like, a month since I posted. Life just got overwhelming for a minute. And rebeccabunch said it wouldn't be weird to just jump back in and pick up where we left off so that's what I'm doing. I have been thinking about you all! So happy to see all the babies are still inside! Congrats on your girl, August Blooms! Yay for your H coming back, Taitai! The PNW is experiencing a historic heat wave and we don't have AC. (Well, we have one portable/window unit that lives in DS's room, lucky him.) Being pregnant in the summer is fun!

Re: water intake, earlier this week my mom was watching TV and shared with me the advice they gave on the show for how to drink more water. They said that any time you take a sip of water, you should drink 10 gulps worth.
As for me, I've noticed whenever I drink a lot of water it irritates my reflux. Doesn't stop me from drinking it, but it has been an annoying part of later pregnancy.

Sorry I've been MIA. After wasting a weekend with my shitty in-laws, they have been here so far this week (DH's aunt passed away a few weeks ago so they're here for the service), and I have no energy at the end of the day.
Anyway, I got my completion coupon from BRU yesterday. At first I thought they were sending it entirely too early, then I realized that there's only 10 weeks to go!

riverraine, it's true. This heat wave is the worst! My in-laws just came back from vacation today, and I'm trying to convince them they need to let us come up tomorrow for their air conditioning

Meanwhile in my part of the Midwest we're experiencing crazy low temps for this time of year. The highs for Friday and Saturday are in the 70s. CRAZY! But I love it. Normal is like mid 90s.

riverraine Welcome back! Canada just got La Croix, I only saw 4 flavors and got some to try. It's not bad reminds me of some of the other sparkling waters that are sold. Sorry to hear about you not having A/C. cougarette Like for the completion coupon, not for the shitty inlaws.
