A.A.R.P., ET AL. V. TRUMP, PRESIDENT OF U.S., ET AL.
There is before the Court an application on behalf of a
putative class of detainees seeking an injunction against their
removal under the Alien Enemies Act. The matter is currently
pending before the Fifth Circuit. Upon action by the Fifth
Circuit, the Solicitor General is invited to file a response to
the application before this Court as soon as possible. The
Government is directed not to remove any member of the putative
class of detainees from the United States until further order of
this Court. See 28 U. S. C. §1651(a).
Justice Thomas and Justice Alito dissent from the Court’s

The Internet tells me this is the show 'The Five' which is the Fox channels reverse The View. It's four conservatives and one liberal and reddit said they let the liberal talk and then the 4 Republicans all attack the liberal. I wonder which one of the 5 that lady is 🤔😅 |

Back when I was on Twitter, I followed Jessica Tarlov, her posts were often quite entertaining clips of her on that show giving them all a what for. I don't know how she puts up with the constant bs from her cohosts, but love her for trying to be a reasonable and sane voice in a sea of disinformation. |

I was not aware that one of RFK Jr's aunts founded the Special Olympics.
1) He's an even bigger piece of shit than I realized.
2) Schwarzenegger's support of the Special Olympics is more personal than I realized since the woman was his mother-in-law.

I was not aware that one of RFK Jr's aunts founded the Special Olympics. 1) He's an even bigger piece of shit than I realized. 2) Schwarzenegger's support of the Special Olympics is more personal than I realized since the woman was his mother-in-law. Eunice Kennedy Shriver and her husband started it mainly because of her sister Rosemary. Many of his nieces/nephews still have direct leadership roles to carry on the program. |

He was briefly one of a trump's attorney's but said he quit because of infighting. He's totally an attention whore and absolutely shares Hegseth's views on women. I'm not Catholic, but I've been reading snippets of his Easter sermon. His message is much needed. Kind of incredible that he rallied for the weekend, for one last Easter and then passed. I'm concerned about what Pope Benedict type pope the church will promote in his stead. Pope Francis was such a shift from his predecessor and I know he faced a lot of push back from the more conservative members of the church. |

elle I haven't been Catholic in a very long time, but I still pay some attention (Habit, maybe?). There are quite a few things where he and I just fundamentally disagreed, but I liked so much of what he had to say and how he tried to change things. Two thousand year old institutions don't change quickly, but he tried. Like you said, more conservative Catholics didn't like him, but I think he had a lot of support, too. I hope the conclave chooses someone more like him than Benedict, but I don't think they will. Not with the way the world is trending right now.
