I’m done shopping except stocking stuffers. My 8yo is getting a couple Harry Potter Lego sets, books, and a Nintendo switch game. I’m also splitting the cost of a professional grade kid size punch/kick stand since he is in taekwondo. My mom is doing the other half. 4yo twins are getting books, play vet set, bluey/bingo stuffies, play cash register and phone, lego duplos, hot wheels track, and Crayola glow drawing sets. One brother is getting hot sauces from mapleme - it’s my new tradition to gift these every year, and the book Homegoing. Other brother is also getting hot sauces and then a personalized whiskey decanter. My mom is getting a customized photo wall calendar, wine bottle charcuterie tray, painted wine glasses and the book Demon of Unrest. I guess I still need to get for my dad but he’s impossible and never wants anything so usually he gets fun socks. Hard cider sounds perfect. He’s not a fan of pickle flavored things so that one is out. What are your other top selling mustards? I could probably use some hot sauce recommendations. His favorites are Aardvark and boring Cholula and Tabasco the green one. Heady Mustards outsells all the others combined. Then Hard Cider, Gustard and Sriracha mustard are all pretty similar in sales. Followed last by Jalapeno Mustard (Gustard has stolen a lot of it's sales, but it's still going strong). For hot sauces, based on those preferences, I would recommend our Maple Wood Smoked Onion (top seller) and a new addition Mellow Vibes Only Taco Hot Sauce. MVO is a milder sibling to our Hot Ones Sauce Taco Vibes Only. Everyone keeps saying that it tastes like a more complex Taco Bell Medium. It's really easy to finish off a bottle. I'd also recommend Cilantro Onion and Ghost Verde Pickle among our green sauces. And our Rum Barrel Fermented Smoked Jalapeno is our once-per-year most coveted sauce and we just released the new run. Oh and we have a micro that we just released that is selling like gangbusters. It's Tomatillo Corn. It's our second release and last time it sold out super fast. And it's enough of a PITA that we're never going to release it as a big batch (without different equipment). EXCELLENT. I got SO some penzys mixes for his birthday a few weeks ago, so hot sauces for Xmas it is!!!! |

For the nieces and nephews who are now college students (on their parents' dime) or college graduates, I just purchased "gifts" like medical equipment or hot meals for a child in underdeveloped countries through Samaritan's Purse. Talking with most of them at Thanksgiving made me remember they are all kind hearted young adults who will still have lots under the tree in spite of nothing physical from us. The medical equipment is for the nephew becoming a paramedic/firefighter. The hot meals for children are for all the rest who are going into elementary education or similar.

I do nothing like that with my hair cause mine never gets very long,
but I got two women folk that need something nice to put in their hair--one is below the shoulders

We were at Ace getting Christmas lights this weekend and they had winter hats with built-in headlamps. They had cute kid ones, like snowmen and elves and plain adult styles. I’m going to go back and get the kids each one. I think I’ll get H one for running and also my dad, who walks every morning.

We got DS an expensive gift so I just have a few other things for him that are small. I know I'm really done for him now but I want to keep buying things. Always!
I am going to try really hard to stop myself and then keep things on a list for Valentine's and his birthday.

If you have animal lovers on your list, I love gifting the Fahlo bracelet- the real gift is you get "your own" animal to track throughout the year. I just bought a few for my SIL and friend, and I gave my cousin one last year and she loved it.
