guster, I'm sorry. Have you ever had an MRI before. Is there a specific part of it that bothers you?

A martini & a bottle of Barolo along with the watermelon tomato salad with goat cheese spread, the brussel sprouts, smoked gouda mac & cheese and the tres leches bread pudding. IT WAS DELICIOUS! Where did you go? I need ALL of this Killen's STQ Make your reservations now! I think our friend's made them a month in advance. Lol!

Will the labs confirm a diagnosis or will you need another test? The labs confirmed his suspicions, but now to be sure he will need to send me for an MRI. I'm waiting on the scheduler to call me back. I can deal with pain and maybe surgery and really everything else, but I hate the idea of an MRI and I basically teared up in his office. He gave me a hug and wrote me a prescription for Valium. Can they do an open, upright MRI?

I'll ask later but I feel like she had to have something clipped? a sphincter? I might be making that up. Let me call her. Thanks. What he told me he would have to do if it is indeed a stone is endoscopic surgery. I was right. Sphincter of odie had to be cut. She said liquid diet will help pain. Might lead to pancreatitis.

There's a lot of diagnoses flying around here. What does the doc think that guster has?

Second day back at work. I've already had to move a pumping time, rush down to pump late a 2nd time, and wolf down lunch today to make make 2nd pump today. Also i know in a few weeks I have a meeting that is long enough that I'll need to leave to pump :/ Hoping it's not always this hectic. Sent from my LG-K371 using Tapatalk Sorry it's been crazy. I think once things settle it'll all work out just fine.

sands42, did you have to quit your job? I did quit- but they asked if I would stay on PRN (as needed) so I said yes. It will look better on my resume anyway. I just have to round up a bunch of last minute babysitters because that's when they will probably call me... when people call in sick etc. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I can't remember if I told you all this. But MH is going to work in Africa on the 7th. I am starting my bachelors online. I have mom brain so I very well could have mentioned this already... So anyhow I'll be back on the board more because he won't be here to bitch at me for being on my phone 🙃 I hope the appointment goes well tgrimes!!! ❤️ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk You mentioned he was looking for another job. That's so soon! How long will he be gone this time? guster trtlcrzy I believe his new rotation is 84/45. So 84 days there and 45 home. It used to be 105/35 so this is a lot better. I'm sorry about the MRI guster. That would bother me too- I hate tight spaces. I hope the Valium helps take all the edge off.

guster, I'm sorry. Have you ever had an MRI before. Is there a specific part of it that bothers you? I had two after Charlie was born. I don't like how deep my head goes in. They can't do the open MRI for this. The only other option is an endoscopy with a camera, but much more invasive than we both want to go.

guster I hope you start feeling better! I know that type of stuff is no joke, the pain had my husband on all fours and in near tears at times. cheeksmum I still have your box of stuff I'm sending you sitting at my house. I am the world champion procrastinator/most forgetful person. 🤷🏼♀️ At one point I had the customs form filled out but then Gunner colored all over it soooo. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

guster ugh. I'm sorry you have to get an MRI. I've only had 1 done. It was a fetal MRI when I was pregnant with S to confirm her diagnosis and look for a cause. I was ginormous and being shoved into a tiny tube. Lol. I have always considered myself *slightly* claustrophobic. My H confirmed that it was more than slight. Lol. They had to stop and pull me out 3 times. I finally got through it with the help of a fan blowing straight into my face. Once I got out of my own head it helped to. So take some deep breaths and the fun little pill and you'll be good!😉 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I've never taken a Valium before. Normally I just push through these kinds of things, but I am glad he gave me the prescription in case I decide to go for it.

guster sorry about the MRI. I had one when I was pregnant with B; never considered myself claustrophobic or anything but it bothered me more than I'd anticipated--and I was on good meds. Take the Valium and hopefully you will breeze through it! Sorry you're having to deal with all this :/

guster, I'm sorry That's so hard. I had 2 MRIs as a kid and thought they were fine, but I think I'd struggle as an adult.

I've had several MRIs. The worst was the one they did of my head because I had a contraption over my face that locked to the board. I felt like hannibalector with that muzzle thing. It was not delightful. The last one I had they asked me what radio station I listened to and they turned it on so I could hear it inside the mri. guster Take the valium, close your eyes and see if they'll let you listen to music.

SweetPotato Before you move away from me, we should go to STQ and get all the sides & appetizers. And barolo. I'll take an uber.
