October is domestic violence awareness month. Below is a link to a series of questions for SHARP: Stalking and Harassment Assestment and Risk Profile. If you or someone you know is being stalked or harassed this is a useful tool. Or you can just test this tool to help you or others understand more about these situations. **this does download results. If you feel your phone or computer is monitored in anyway please use a public, friend's, or otherwise deemed safe computer** ukcdar.uky.edu/ls/index.php/727369?lang=enI've been working on DV education on my campus for years now. Ever since my experience and escape. This year I helped with the presentation on stalking that we will present later this week. I feel this is valuable information for all of us to know and as our children are now or soon to be teenagers this is important for them too.

Thank you for posting this, I hadn't seen this one. I used this one prior to leaving and then a year later, and it was kind of like shocking and a reality check: www.mosaicmethod.com/What I do like about this one, is that you have a login and you can access old reports. If you are in a DV situation, it might be a good idea to do these assessments a few times a year to check in. If you do leave, maybe it can help you establish evidence. The thing I like about these assessments (I just took the one you posted too Nota🎃) is the black and white questions. It can be so easy to be filled with confusion, when you answer the questions honestly and then it tells you the results, it can help cut the cognitive dissonance. I was still downplaying it majorly and I read the assessment saying that most cases that end in homicide answer the questions the same way that I did and that was like whoa... really? So even if you feel like you *maybe* should take it, just take it and see what it says.

This is a great reminder, thank you!
Also please look into your local gun sense politicians as we’re coming into voting time. It’s so important to vote for common sense candidates so we can hopefully reduce the number of deaths caused by firearms, with domestic violence being a top number.
Also DM me if you need help finding information for your area. Moms Demand Action has a great database of contacts and information for this very type of thing.
