How old is he? Is he self conscious about it? Did he ask to address it? I have one of those small facial hair removers and I showed him how to use it and told him if he wanted to he could. I wouldn’t bleach or wax as that can be irritating to his skin but honestly, I wouldn’t do anything about it unless he asks. DS is 15 now and shaves 2-3 times a week with a regular razor and doesn’t involve me.

Get him an electric razor, show him how to use it, and let it go.-his face his decision. The tween faux-stache is a fun part of puberty /sarcasm/.

When DS got his hair cut last week the barber shaved his stache! That was a surprise lol.

Some kids just will not bring it up even though they might be super embarrassed and wanting to do something about it. I might bring it up and say hey, I noticed you have a little shadow of a mustache going on. Just wanted to let you know that if you want to shave it, we can show you what to do. But if you don’t wanna do anything yet, that’s OK too. |
