I have a sentimental attachment to this candy because my dad used to eat these all the time when I was a kid There's a reason I love you so much, and it's not just bc my psycho animal is obsessed with you. |

Honestly, I kind of love all candy save candy corn.
I don't eat it as a rule, but on Halloween I look forward to the spoils from my kid's bags.
It's also the night I get my one Reece's cup a year, eaten outside and thrown away in the outside trash, followed by immediate shower/teeth brushing/etc (my son is highly allergic). DH and I look forward to it like an anniversary trip, lol.

For his last birthday, I got him a bag of candy corn and the most adorable stuffed candy corn, which he calls his Candy Corn Buddy. I am now looking at stuffed Smarties. 😅

She is 3 though 😂😂 I always ask her for some because she always tells me not to steal her candy. She will eventually give me one but yeah whatever makes you happy girl |

These might be fighting words, but Butterfingers! A few years ago they changed the recipe for them, and they went from one of the best candies ever to being blah, and I'm still mad that no one else seems outraged about this and we haven't made them change them back. Love the taste, hate how they get stuck in my teeth |

It's nice to not have to police my son (or back when he was little, he was more responsible now) and also for all kids to be able to pull from the same pumpkin. We used to do a teal pumpkin and a regular, but now I just put this out so kids don't feel othered. |

Has anyone seen those candy discs thar look like flying saucers with sprinkles inside? They taste like Styrofoam? My H likes them but I've only seen them recently and they are an abomination

My H likes them but I've only seen them recently and they are an abomination They had those at the 'country store' we used to go to as kids that had a wall of candy bins and we'd fill bags for super cheap. I saw them at our mall candy store recently and bought them just for the nostalgia. They had a regular version and a 'sour' version. The regular were just as gross and styrofoamy as I remembered from a child (so fulfilled the nostalgia factor), but my kids actually really liked the sour ones. They are up there with the wax bottle with the tiny bit of liquid in them and the candy cigarette gum you could blow on and it would actually 'puff' once for me. |
