It's O day. Timing has been good. We have DTD the last 3 days and will tomorrow for good measure. If my luteal phase straightens out I will have AF on DH and mine's kid free vacation. If it's short per usual, I'm good. I have no hopes of being KU. OB next month.

My tests aren't looking so good. Beta on Sunday came back at 8. I've only spoken to the on call nurse who isn't optimistic although she's seen one 8 and one 12 turn into babies. Repeat tomorrow and hope it skyrockets like crazy.
Going into this, DH and I said if it doesn't work out, we wouldn't do it again (we have two embryos left). This is going to sound bad, I know, and it's something I never thought I'd say as an infertile, but I wasn't sure I wanted three. Part of it scared me, thinking about pieces of delivery scared me (that's dumb, I've done it twice and it's not even scary stuff I'm worried about). I was so crushed yesterday, I cried so much. I know I'm technically not out yet, but that's a super low number. I guess we'll see what tomorrow holds, but now I'm more afraid I won't get to have the full family I didn't know I really wanted.

Hi all! Sorry I checked out for a while...I was kind of in a bad mood about the transfer delay but I'm ok with it now. We've actually delayed it until Sept/Oct since I have to add Lupron to the mix which we hadn't banked on financially. But looks like we're ready to start our 2nd try mock cycle on CD21 this month! Getting excited 😊 Meanwhile, my little Emma turned 1...wahhhhh, going by too fast!

mnj05 sending hugs your way. Hoping for a huge jump in your beta. There was someone on PAIF when I was on there who had an initial beta of ~ 8 that worked out. I'll be hoping for the best! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

westiemom - here's hoping you get a surprise BFP, but at least you have a plan of action if not. nikiswims - good luck!!! scrang - sounds like we are on a similar schedule! mnj05 - crossing my fingers your numbers jump. since you have two embryos left, could you try another transfer if you had to? despite what you and your husband decided beforehand? i think sometimes you don't know exactly how you feel until you're in the middle of it, and personally i think it's fair game to change your mind.

Hi everyone! I met with my RE and came up with a plan. We'll do testing and mock transfer in August after I get my period. (he said mock transfer = saline ultrasound. is that right?) Then I'll do 3-4 weeks of bcp, then estrogen and progesterone shots before&after transfer. So transfer probably in late September or early October. Does that sound like a normal FET protocol?
I only have 1 embryo left and I just found out it's a 5-day BB. My RE said approximately 90% of embryos survive the thaw process, which sounds low to me. How worried should I be that I'll lose this embryo before we even transfer??

moto DH keeps asking if we need to prepare to do it again. We like to pay cash for it but we did put a little on a credit card that's not paid off yet so I don't know. Depending on what today's outcome is, we have some decisions to make.

How worried should I be that I'll lose this embryo before we even transfer?? That sounds like a very typical FET protocol. The mock transfer is usually done at the same time as the saline ultrasound (both are required) but it's not the same exact thing. I was told at my clinic there was a 95% chance of an embryo surviving thaw. The first embryo we went to transfer (a day 6 6BB PGS normal) did not survive thaw however. I was like seriously?? I felt like I was on the wrong end of statistics for awhile there. Remember 9/10 is still a great chance. Good luck!

So I'm putting my tfas plans on hold for some time because my 12 month old daughter is still nursing a lot including 1-2x in the night. She needs to be fully weaned and I'm not emotionally ready to even try and she doesn't seem to be either so I canceled my saline ultrasound and FET classes for now. At least the process seems straightforward once she is weaned

My beta rose to 39, nurse said that's a good jump for 48 hours but still low. We will recheck on Monday so for now, we're cautiously optimistic. Now my stomach can stop doing flips and my blood pressure can come down. Holy crap it's been a nerve wracking afternoon.
