Hi! Sorry for being MIA - I haven't had much to report. Finally had CD1 start on Friday, started BCPs on Saturday to keep my ute all tidy till I can do my saline ultrasound/mock transfer. Called this morning to schedule it and found out my RE had emergency surgery over the weekend and will be out for a couple of weeks. So looks like I'll be on BCPs for a few more weeks at least and will do the u/s when he's back to work, and then at that point they will likely decide not to risk me having another long cycle and just keep me on BCPs till it's time to start cycling in late September.
QOTW: I would really love to go to England/Scotland/Ireland one day.

daisy818 that sucks about your RE and getting delayed. IF is one big waiting game. It's always something. I hope your RE is ok and you can move on with your cycle soon. I am doing ok. Just hanging on BCPs. I am glad we will still be able to go to Maine. Just trying to keep positive for this next cycle. I can't help but think it will fail since the last FET didn't work. QOTW: Renting a hut above water in Bora Bora has been on my list for a while but you know long flight and $$$$

daisy818, I hope your RE is ok, and you won't be too delayed once he's back at work! jense927, I hope you have a great trip! Nothing new here yet, but I'm mentally preparing myself to move up our cycle dates since I checked class registration today and it's still really low. I'm holding off on contacting my nurse until the classes are officially cancelled, but it's looking really likely. I had been looking forward to teaching those classes, but I'm excited to get going on IVF again sooner than we thought! QOTW: I really want to see the Aurora Borealis. We had started planning a trip to Churchill, Manitoba for last winter, but work commitments shifted and we weren't able to fit it in. One day!

daisy818 I'm sorry for the delay and extra BCP stims. jense927 enjoy Maine! And I get your feels. I'm feeling the same way about this FET because our last FET didn't work. bonzo I'm glad you get to cycle sooner! And your QOTW is totally on my bucket list. AFM, 5dp6dt. Hanging out. Beta is Friday. I'm getting these huge itchy welts with the PIO this time and worried it's an allergy. Which is crazy because at this point I've literally done months of PIO and never before had an issue. Weird to be suddenly allergic to sesame oil. Isn't there supposed to be a non-sesame variety? QOTW: I'd love to climb Kilimanjaro. One day... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

daisy818 I am sorry you have a longer wait. jense927 enjoy your trip. I always wanted to go to Maine. bonzo so happy you get to get started sooner! babyhopes I hope you are doing okay about a self cancel. Hang in there! I'm here still on painkillers day 4 and going back to work Thursday, which will be tough. Not myself yet. Better taking dostinex and better without a hcg trigger as far as healing. Did all I could. I kind of freaked out before egg retrieval because I felt like I ovulated and my pregnancy test was negative because of the lupron trigger, but so far, so good. Day 3, and we still have 13 embryos. Very nervous because we had a large drop off last time days 4 and 5, but now I just let them leave messages and check them when I wake up so I don't stress. It is what it is. I did my best. We have one frostie, so if we had five blastocysts this time, that would mean we could do two transfers of three, which is what it would probably take with someone who is 41, but I'm happy we are where we are. I am not looking forward to going back on birth control, however. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

jense927, enjoy Maine! bonzo, exciting to get to cycle sooner! nikiswims, FX for your beta!! Sorry about the PIO issues - I feel like I read somewhere that there is an alternative for people who are sensitive to the sesame oil. hoosiermama76, congrats on the fert report! babyhopes, any word from the RE about cancelling your cycle? Sorry you are having to deal with possibly cancelling

daisy818 sorry for the delay. I hope your RE is ok! jense927 enjoy ME! Ugh, I get how you're feeling. I'm having all the feelings about this upcoming FET after my failed FET. It sucks. bonzo I'm sorry your classes are looking like they will be cancelled, but I'm glad you'll be able to cycle sooner! nikiswims I think I remember someone last year having a reaction to PIO after an extended period of time. There is a non-sesame option. Have you called your nurse? Are you beta or bust? hoosiermama76 FX for your embies! AFM, I'm just plugging along on Estrace and Baby Aspirin. I double my Estrace tomorrow. Sounds about right since my estrogen headaches were finally getting under control. 😉 QOTW: I want to go to Madagascar! I've wanted to go since my primatology class freshman year. It is such a unique ecosystem with unique creatures, and it looks gorgeous. Maybe one day!!

nikiswims, there's definitely a non-sesame oil kind! Ask your nurse to submit the order for it. I think it's olive oil, but I could be wrong. babyhopes, how are things going with this stim? Did you decide what to do? birch113, the headaches are the worst part of this I think! I hope it's not so bad when you double your dose. Over here, we're half-moved and living with my in-laws until next week when we can move into our new house. I cannot explain how anxious I am for this week to go as quickly as freaking possible LOL. I transferred to a Strbks down here to keep my coverage and I hate my new store so far. I wasn't planning on staying long and really only staying until I knew for sure that I maxed out my coverage but... Turns out that we are not yet maxed out even though the med order for ONE cycle almost killed our entire lifetime IF max. We probably have enough for one more banking cycle, without meds. I'll just buy them OOP. I'd really like 6 frozen before doing 3-5 months on Lupron. That's a lot riding on one more cycle but if I could somehow figure out how to do a third banking retrieval, I'm fairly sure we'd be set. QOTW: Top spot on our bucket list is to buy a mountain cabin! And actually, we want to buy my husband's grandfather's mountain cabin that he grew up in. Grandfather's kids allowed the cabin to be sold when grandfather had to move into town for better medical care and M and I want to get it back.

lemonliz I hope this week goes quickly!! I'm so sorry you hate your new store. Do you think it will get better as you settle in, or are the parts you hate more systemic? I'm glad you've got enough coverage for one more banking cycle!!!

lemonliz, I'm glad you have enough coverage for one more cycle! birch113, I'm sorry you have to up your dose right as your headaches were getting better. hoosiermama76, letting them leave messages sounds like a good plan to reduce stress! FX your embryos have been growing well! nikiswims, FX for your betas! I hope you can get the PIO that doesn't give you a bad reaction!

At this point, I'll take prayers. We have two near blastocysts and they are watching another five for tomorrow. Since this is our last fresh cycle, I would love to have enough frozen to do two cycles, since it's less expenses and in case first frozen doesn't work. For me, 41, we would ideally need six frozen. We have one already. But I would even take five. Of course, I'm grateful we have any, but it's just so hard on that day 4-5 drop off.

I'm glad you've got enough coverage for one more banking cycle!!! I'm not quite sure. The morning shift just doesn't seem as organized as my old shift manager's was so I think it's systemic. But my old shift manager was THE BOMB. She worked at Sbx for the health care coverage for her family but she's a FT PA for the NICU at the local children's hospital so she was just that kind of hyper organized, on the ball kind of person. I'm starting to think she's the anomaly! I'll give them more time though. Maybe I started on an off day. There were sure times that everything was a hot mess at my old store too. But at least I won't have to be shlepping macchiatos forever. This is just temporary and it's for a good cause!

FX hoosiermama76! That is interesting your office gives you daily updates. They did not do that at my practice. They told you how many retrieved and how many fertilized but we didn't get another update until day 5 with how many went to freeze. I guess its kind of a good thing and a bad thing. Anyways I hope you have more that make it today!

daisy818 - Hope your RE is okay, sorry about the delay. jense927 - enjoy your trip! lemonliz - Good luck with the move, I hope you are able to figure out how to get a third cycle out of this, or don't need it because you get your 6 blasts. hoosiermama76 - FX for you! Hi, I am back. FET in July was a bust. We are prepping for a natural FET in August, transferring our last two embabies. CD8 this morning and lining check was at 6.1. Still have a few more days before trigger as my follicle was only at 9mm. I hope something sticks, we have nothing left after this and the thought of having to cycle, again, terrifies me. Non TTTC related. Hubby and I are almost done getting the condo ready to be listed. Started moving stuff out of the unit and into storage. Cleaners come Monday, photographer Tuesday and the place should be listed by the end of next week.

Grad warning***** nikiswims I had an allergic reaction to the PIO in sesame. It started with my first cycle but wasn't that bad until we were almost at beta so it took some time to build. I switched to progesterone in olive oil, because of my insurance it meant using a different pharmacy and paying more but it was a world of difference. Good luck!
