I should be productive today while dh is gone, but we will see what DD permits. Hoping to clean the crib I got her and maybe even put it together. Decide whether to get a new mattress (probably) and clean the fridge. All goals with a toddler. Ha!

I went and decided on which crib we wanted at babies r us today. And the nice thing was, my MIL told me if we want them to get it for us to let them know. Score! Also, we test drove a gorgeous 2018 Honda Odyssey. It was amazing. Unfortunately, its $35,000. Yikes. Tomorrow we have an appointment to test drive a new 2017 Toyota Sienna. My H's car is falling apart and is up for inspection at the end of the month. We have to decide quickly if the car is worth repairing and holding off on a new car (we will have some decent money saved as a down payment) or junk the current car and buy a new ridiculously expensive car with less of a down payment. What it costs to fix his current one is a huge deciding factor. It's not worth much and I would hate to put money into it for more than its worth. Deciding on a new car sucks. We just did the same thing as we knew DH's car was a clunker and would pass smog this time. Plus 2 car seats pushed us forward. Good luck! We drove the sienna and it wasn't horrible. It really didn't compare with the odyssey but it had most of the safety features and AWD, which the odyssey doesn't have. We are definitely leaning towards the sienna due to affordability and the fact that they are willing to make deals. Now we have to decide when do we pull the trigger? We would have a better down payment if we wait which means a lower monthly payment, but we may not get the car/or deal we want. If we weren't still paying on my Forester things may be a little different. Ugh. This sucks.
