bethkate you don't have to answer this if it's too nosy, but do you have an underlying clotting disorder? I don't remember if you said from when we first did intros on TCF. I'm just curious because part of my job is to manage anticoagulation for the patients at my clinic who are on warfarin. I'm glad you got discharged and I hope the rest of your pregnancy goes as smoothly as possible! Yes, I'm heterozygous for factor v Leiden. I was on 40mg daily of lovenox, but it clearly wasn't enough. Now I'm on 70mg twice a day.

Finally had a boring lay around type of day. H was out getting a tattoo all day so the kids and I just sat around watching movies, played outside a little, and ate a bunch of crap.
I taught the 1yr old to say "chicken butt" when you ask him "guess what" so it was somewhat productive lol

The yoga class I go to on Tuesdays and Thursdays is not prenatal specific. It's called Gentle Yoga and most of the participants are over 65. There is a different teacher for each day. This week, both teachers have approached me and asked if I was personally familiar with acceptable pregnancy yoga practices because neither of them are certified in prenatal. The teacher today actually laughingly said I made her nervous. I haven't done anything on my stomach in months and if a move doesn't feel right, I don't do it. I think it's pretty funny that this was the week they both showed concern. Lol I think as a teacher I would be nervous, too. I think as long as you aren't twisting, are elevating so you arent flat on your back, and not doing any abdominal exercises, you should be fine! My prenatal yoga class had wedges to place under backs for savasana, but I think a pillow or rolled up towel would work fine.

Has anyone tried the new line at target, Gillian &O'Malley??? If not highly recommend checking them out. They have amazing bralets that are good for everyone and the softest sleepwear. Is that new? I am pretty sure some of my nursing stuff from DD was that brand and that was 4 years ago... But yes it is super comfy! I have been wearing some of the sleeping nursing bras to bed even when not pregnant.

Today was a rough day. I feel awful. My pelvis is killing me and I can barely walk. I honestly feel like I'm 40 weeks pregnant. I really hope I start feeling better soon. 5 weeks till school starts and I really can't see myself being able to do my job feeling like this.

By the end of the day, I am very much done. Currently my diaphragm and ribs are feeling squished and crowded because this kid is all up in my ribs when I sit down, which seems early. It all seems early. He must be too small to be everywhere in my belly all at once and yet, that's what it seems like. I am trying to fathom going back to work and I can't. I will be 31 weeks when I go back to work, which is when I was put on medical leave last time. I have no frame of reference for how to work while massively pregnant!

I'm over here thinking that brand was new because I'd never seen it before! I'm happy it's been around for a while and people love it though. Maybe at my target it was new?

My only saving grace was I had a student teacher who was in her last year so she was teaching 95% of the time. Lol. This year I'm in resource, so chasing kids with behaviour issues and what not doesn't seem to seem all that feasible. So we will see.

I planned to go out at 37w and ended up being pulled at 35w for prodromal labor. They told me the stress of being on my deet all day was basically the cause. I've been having BH strong enough to wake me already, so I'll be curious to see how long I last this time.

Sorry you had a rough day cdnfarmgirl. I hope it was just a day and not a permanent shift. Ugh, you guys, my BFF had a miscarriage at 15 weeks overnight. ![:(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/sad.png) she also went through infertility with me and conceived with IUI. I don't know what to do. I just told her how sorry I was and asked her to tell me if there was anything I could do and also that she could ignore me for at long as necessary. I'm not a very emotional person so it's really hard for me to know what to do in this situation. I suppose I should just let her be for a few days, but then I think I'll bring her some of her favourite groceries and like some distractions?

AnnPerkins Do they know you're pregnant and just asked this week if you know what to do? Kinda late to the game ladies lol. I was told no deep twists, hot yoga, or inversions. This past week being on my stomach was uncomfortable so I asked the instructor what I could do in place of those moves for the next time. One of the teachers had asked me about it a month or two ago just as small talk. Maybe she thought I wouldn't commit for this long or something. Lol I do need to look into a few more alternative poses, though. I've been having nerve pain in my lower back on the right side, so a lot of laying down poses have become uncomfortable. I would also suggest a bolster. When I take the maternity class we'll use those when reclining and while in the beginning it seemed pointless I can now see that it will help alleviate pressure.

So sorry for your friend, blabbermouth. That is awful. I think you have a good plan. You may want to ask her if she would prefer to have photos of the baby hidden when the time comes... I know that aspect of social media has been hard on some friends on social media. They want to follow friends but don't want to be overwhelmed by photos of babies. You can set up custom filters on FB to help with that.

Fair point. I've also seen people put out an "I'm making a filter for baby photos, let me know if you want to be on it and see the new baby!" post before. I didn't know this was an option, good advice! Yeah, you can set whole albums that way too so that anything you post in there is visible to specific people. It's super easy to exclude just a few people. It defaults to friends, but there is a "friends except..." option to uncheck a few people OR a custom option to select just a few people who can see it. It's actually quite handy!

Thanks for the advice misskilljoy! I think she already pretty much avoids facebook for those types of reasons, but I will definitely consider adding that filter. Probably I really only want to post excessively to my family members anyway!

blabbermouth I am so sorry to hear about your friends loss. I think reaching out to her and letting her know it's okay if she needs space from you is so kind. When I had my loss my sister sent me a package of my favorite candy, nice smelling lotion and a canvas print of 3 birds on a branch (H, DS and I) and one flying off into the sky. She wrote a beautiful note about how we will remember the baby. I plan on getting a tattoo similar to the print once I'm no longer pregnant/bf. there are some really sweet loss items too on etsy. Overall I think just being there for her when she needs you is the best thing you can do for her. The hurt never really goes away but it does get better.

LOL I had gift cards... but BRU Canada is doing a sale on car seats. I bought two Evenflo Triumph LX for $150 CAD each. My ILs have that seat for DD and I've been happy with it, so bonus that it was $70 off right now!

I hate pulling the straps to tighten them!
