I am guessing that she has pancreatic or ovarian. I still think Chuck has colorectal. Not an easy time for that family, for sure.

Lol at pictures being anything reliable anymore. I know what you mean here, but it still made me chuckle given *points to everything all around us* There are for sure ways for a legit paparazzi to get pictures that wouldn’t cause all the talk. Or even someone who is in a crowd and can get it without her knowing. Sure any picture is going to be looked at closely but it could be done and if anyone can do it American paparazzi can Oh I 100% agree, but it was still funny to me considering everything photos have become over the last 6 months.

I know some that once they start these killer cancer treatments, especially the really expensive targeted therapies that cost 10-20+k at a time-well they do not look like themselves anymore. I don't mean just losing hair, but either blown up like a balloon unrecognizable due to steroids or other meds, or skin and bones look like skeletons. So there is a possibility that any photos taken by odds and ends type regular folks or whatever, the publishers say that is not Kate. Of course the national inquirer type mags might take those photos.

KP has denied she’s getting treatment in Houston but they aren’t exactly a credible source these days, so I don’t know.

I am not disagreeing that we have the best cancer care here. But I truly don’t think the most VIP of all patients would have to travel to have access to that. I could be wrong but I think mountains would be moved to avoid that for her situation. Money can’t win in this one. You have to go to them. The machines don’t move and a lot of the treatments require tag team care. I’m sure the accommodations and experience are top notch, but yes even VIPs have to travel to cancer treatment.

MD Anderson is amazing. Truly. But I have no idea why she would have to travel there for care. Any doctor in the world can consult on the case from where they are and the treatment plan could be carried out in the UK for the future queen. If there is a clinical trial for the treatment of whatever cancer she has it absolutely would not be outside of the realm of possibility for her to travel there.

Idk, this is pretty hilarious. The headline of the BBC article I read was “Animal-rights protesters attack portrait of King”. After seeing the damage, “attack” seems a bit of a strong word.

Maxima is in Atlanta today *googling flights to ATL* I know I've said it before but I just love her in rich colors <3 And who are the other people? That would be Gov Brian Kemp and his wife.

I remember King Hussein of Jordan going to Mayo to get treatment and I don't think it was one of the bad cancers.

As weird as the painting is and awful as the real thing is, I have feelings about defacing art. Thankfully no damage

My stepdad traveled to MD Anderson for a clinical trial. For standard treatment, I’m sure they could just consult with her local doctors.

I have a friend who uprooted everything to move to texas because MD Anderson was the only cancer center they found willing to treat her husbands cancer with the goal of a cure (not palliative care). So there are situations I could see someone needing to travel to them. 🤷🏻♀️

This is sort of tangentially relevant but we have a family member who had cancer discovered and initially the prognosis was very optimistic but further testing and imaging, and response to treatments the prognosis is getting a little less optimistic and they are very very sick right now.
I am not saying that’s what happened here but I could see the palace putting out the initial statements thinking things would be back to normal “soon”ish only for things to end up being more serious than initially thought

Her breast cancer moved to metastatic brain but they went in got the whole tumor and did pinpoint radiation on the smaller 6 and she had a great prognosis. 3 weeks ago she was rushed to the hospital for seizures and they found scar tissue and other stuff. Yes it happens but I stand by if they had stated it was cancer and that she would be taking time to get treatment and left it at that no fake pictures, no fake stories etc. the majority of people would have left it alone because we have all seen it and know. Again The whole she is working at home stories. She is out and about, the photoshopped pictures, and everything else that the family has done is why people are questioning anything. And the media blackouts and privacy that they told Meghan was not allowed no being enforced is what has made people go hmmm what??

Cancer is a bitch, and sometimes it's not what it appeared at first. Also, depending on what is going on, secondary cancers can sprout up as well once they start checking.

Wasn’t there some story about Kate’s mom not being seen lately? If Kate is being treated in Houston, or somewhere else, Carole is probably with her, so that would make sense.

Wait, I thought we discussed the rumors here? There's been talk that she (Carole) was in a terrible car accident back in March/April and had to be life flighted out but there was a press moratorium on the story. I can't find anything reputable about it now, but istg at the time there were a few places reporting before they were quickly scrubbed/deleted.

She's working with mayo clinic. last summer I had my mamogram and had ok results. so imagine my fright at MD Anderson cancer center local calling to set up my first appt! It was not cancer it was hematology for my anemia. But I had a heart attack

Yes this is being brought up again big time because of everything being gone about it. But yes March was allegedly the last time we have seen Carole. It’s very much being talked about that at minimum Charlotte hasn’t been seen. Louis wasn’t seen much anyway but now that he is older he would start to be seen more. I’m not surprised though because besides when they are all together Charlotte is mostly seen with Kate at events similar to George with Will

I wonder of KP floated the car crash story through “sources close to the Middletons” to divert attention then realized it was going to blow up in their faces so they had it scrubbed.
