I'm hoping to get an appointment to see my doctor today...that is the one good thing about DD wanting to come home. I just want to get in so that I can ask for a referral to an OB. With DD I just used my GP since I wasn't high risk and I was still 34 so not AMA yet either...but I was not happy with how everything went. So this time I'm hoping to get in to see a specialist. We're going back up to the boat tomorrow so they better see me today.
And it's garbage day. I haven't gotten the garbage together yet but DD is still asleep and I don't want to wake her.

Also, does anyone have any recs for sit and stand strollers? DD will be 4 when this one arrives but we take long walks as a family so I think we're going to need one.

The Joovy sit and stand seems to be the popular choice on my BMB. I've heard good things about it. I got a regular double stroller because DS1 was a little younger and still likes to sit. But I probably would have gone with the Joovy otherwise!

caer Thank you! I was between Joovy and Babytrend. I tried the Babytrend with DD the other day and she loved it but the front seat was not comfortable for her. I was looking at double strollers too but DD is too old. I'll definitely try out the Joovy.

We have the Joovy Caboose Ultralight and we really like it! Folds easily to get it in the car and while it's no BOB, it's a lot more maneuverable than I was expecting.

beachdreamer Thank you. It seems like that seems to be the popular choice. Does your older one still fit in the front seat or is it really shallow? I was hoping to get one that my DD could still sit in the front seat until LO arrives and is big enough to ride in it. The Babytrend one has a really shallow front seat and already is too short for DD.

sammysam, sorry just now noticing your question. Yes, my older one sits in the front no problem. He likes it if I am wearing his brother, then he sits in the front. The footrest part adjusts by raising and lowering so I keep it up if the baby is in the seat, but I put it down when my 3 year old is there. My 3 year old is on the smaller side (25 lbs and 37") but there is still plenty of room if he were a little bigger. It's basically the same seat in the front and back.
