I saw this on tiktok and it cut to a computer screen a la Doogie Howser and someone writing their resume with "flying bird at weddings".

That's definitely a choice for weddings.

I believe that is a typo is should say "For the evening reception, we aimed for pretension without elegance, mirroring the couple's personalities."

I went to Switzerland on a music tour a number of years ago with a group of students from all over the state, and remember Switzerland as being one of my favorite countries we visited. I distinctly remember taking a photo of a sign that, when translated, said "beware of sheeps". Apparently, sheeps were not what I needed to be afraid of.

I'm over here doing that thing where I'm laughing so hard that no sound is coming out so I'm wheezing, and also trying not to wake up my child while doing so.
