How far along are you? 36w4d
How are you feeling (physically/emotionally)? Physically I'm tired and having pressure/cramping every day. Also my pelvic pain has gotten worse. Emotionally, same as always, just anxious about everything and I need her to just be here already!
Any appointments or milestones coming up this week? Weekly NST and OB appointment on Friday. We had an u/s last Friday and baby girl is measuring a few days ahead and estimated weight 6 lbs 6oz, 49th percentile.
Do you need any thoughts or prayers? No, thank you.
Anything else you'd like to share? I really need to get my hospital bag packed and my house cleaned but I seriously cannot get motivated. I get tired so easily and it also hurts to bend over. Ugh! I decided I am going to schedule a professional cleaning service but I still need to get things organized a bit before they come.
QoTW: What's your most favorite item you got for the nursery? My mom bought us this cute stuffed elephant that plays peek a boo with the baby and sings songs. It is so cute! I love it!

Weekly check-in:
How far along are you? 36w 3d
How are you feeling (physically/emotionally)? Okay. The nerves never really go away, and I know I'll still worry after he's born. It's just I have No Control At All when he's still inside. He's had two quieter days of movement, and it's scaring me. He still is meeting kick counts but I usually feel him right when I wake up, and I didn't for an hour this morning. I think his sleep cycles are now defined now but it makes me crazy. Plus, I've developed mild itching at night and keep worrying it's something bad. I've been having more Braxton Hicks at night. Saturday, they were 5 min apart 30 second each and I was starting to wonder, but they went away after I chugged Gatorade.
Any appointments or milestones coming up this week? Weekly nst Wednesday and weekly obgyn Thursday.
Do you need any thoughts or prayers? Not right now.
Anything else you'd like to share? Can't think of anything.
QoTW: What's your most favorite item you got for the nursery One of my best friends hand knit a beautiful, soft blue blanket for new baby. I love it.

How far along are you? 36+5 How are you feeling (physically/emotionally)? Not good. I think DH and I are both sick. Sunday morning I woke up, ate, and threw up. I was fine the rest of the day. This morning I wasn't feeling great at 4am, drank some hot tea, and threw up again. Went back to bed from 6-9. Got up, ate lunch, then DH and I BOTH went to bed for 3 hours which never happens. I think we are both getting something. Any appointments or milestones coming up this week? Start weekly appointments on Thursday and they will check my progress then. Do you need any thoughts or prayers? No thanks Anything else you'd like to share? Little man is a wiggle worm today. He's usually active early in the morning and after dinner but he's been moving all day long today which has been uncomfortable. He's running out of room in there. Just need to hang some pictures in the nursery and we'll be totally finished...YAY! QOTW: I really love the quilt we got for the crib. It's super cute and really makes the room. cali, Go for the deep clean!

How far along are you? 37wks today!!!!! How are you feeling (physically/emotionally)? Physically very sore. I've been having back pains that come and go in waves, and yesterday I had contractions 30 min apart all day. Nothing I did made them go away or get stronger. Now I'm just back to cramps and back pains. I've also been slowly loosing my mucus plug since Sunday, but it certainly hasn't been pink or red tinged so I'm guessing that it's not much at this point. Emotionally a really hot hormonal mess. Any appointments or milestones coming up this week? Midwife appointment today. Will update if anything special is said. Do you need any thoughts or prayers? No but thanks! Anything else you'd like to share? Being so far away from my family is really taking it's toll. H's family is really nice and all, but it's not the same. IDK I think that I'm just struggling right now to feel any sort of accomplishment and not be overwhelmed. QoTW: What's your most favorite item you got for the nursery? This is a hard one!!! I think it's a toss up between the crib sheet set (which is vintage peter rabbit) and the cute little peter rabbit lovey that my grandmother bought baby.

ow far along are you? 37w6d LOL I had to check my ticker in my siggy to remember.. wasn't sure whether I was almost 37 or 38 weeks. *rolls eyes*
How are you feeling (physically/emotionally)? P: Feeling big and slow, still struggling with nausea and sleeping is becoming more and more of an issue thanks to umpty bathroom breaks and the fact I have to change position like every hour or my hips feel like they're going to break apart. I have had an increase in BH but no sign of labor just yet.. which makes me wonder whether she's like way too comfi and doesn't plan on coming out any time soon!?
E: Sorta in the middle of everything and nothing. On the one hand really anxious for baby to come, and on the other hand I don't feel prepared or ready at all. In all honesty I'm not doing all that great right now (and haven't for a while, but am just good in covering it up I guess). I've been struggling with feeling down and depressed, and am feeling very socially isolated lately. MH works long days/weeks and my family and the few friends we have nearby have been/are on holiday/in the hospital/recovering/etc so I have spent the majority of my days these past several months (since I broke my ankle) on my own and it's just not good for me. It also feeds my anxiety and IF/PgAL PTSD sometimes. I've been struggling with feeling really out of sorts for a good while now and some days don't really know what to do with myself. Maybe I just have/had to much going on (getting laid off unexpectedly, breaking my ankle, the scares with babygirl, not having the house ready for baby etc, and then just when things were quieting down again my mum ended up in the hospital etc, it HAS been a lot to deal with), but with my hx of depression etc I do worry a little. I've considered contacting the psychologist I saw for several months late last year but haven't as I don't have any means of getting there and I also am just not sure whether he'd be the right person for me (which is part of the reason I stopped going last year). I keep hoping that once I finish prepping for baby some of my anxiety and mehness will go away but I'm probably just kidding myself heh.
Any appointments or milestones coming up this week? Nope none. Which puzzles (like I said before) me since I was told I'd be going weekly from 36wks, but it is what it is. Next appointment is on the 8th (MFM).
Do you need any thoughts or prayers? No thanks.
Anything else you'd like to share? We're still so behind on baby prep! Even with the progress made on the nursery, it still needs a ton of work though funnily enough I'm not too worried about that atm though. But I also still haven't packed my hospital bag. I don't think I even have all the stuff ready for baby's bassinet! I need to get crackin' on those things!! I'm just so disappointed that I'm having to do all this on my own instead of together with my mum which had been the plan. Now that my mum is recovering from her heart infarct, I just don't want to overexhaust her (and she's already doing more then she's supposed to, if you ask me - with my sister's oldest having had a sleep over for 2 days earlier this week.. less then a week since mum has been released from the hospital. Sis wtf were you thinking?!). I know that if I ask her for help she'll come help out but I just don't know whether I should. Not being able to drive is also making it really difficult to get some things sorted. MH just entered a 10day shift so is of no help atm either. I don't even know who will be able to take me to the hospital for my MFM appointment on Tuesday.. One thing I do plan on doing is hire a professional cleaner to help me get the house tidy and clean before baby arrives! So looking forward to that (though I feel really weird having someone come and clean house for me while I'm at home myself not helping..?!). Hopefully my dad can come help me later this week to get some furniture put together, then there won't be tons of carton boxes and other stuff scattered around the house no more. Then I can surface clean over the weekend (just so the cleaner can actually get around things lol) and can have someone come by early next week. I contemplated hiring someone while I was out with my ankle in a cast and in hindsight wish I had!
QoTW: What's your most favorite item you got for the nursery? Ahh not sure tbh! I really LOVE the curtain fabric I got, and have my eye set on some really lovely artwork as well - those two things (even if I don't actually have it in the nursery just yet) may for now be my favorites? In the end I think baby will be my favorite item of the nursery ;-)

cali, Absolutely do hire that cleaner to get your house cleaned! It's just not something we can do on our own no more at this point in the pg. And just imagine how awesome it'll be to look around the house once they've left and have everything in order I hear you on wanting/needing to surface clean some, but don't go overboard haha. Shall we make a deal with eachother that by this weekend we have our hospital bags packed and ready? I need some motivation to get that done myself! That peekaboo ellie sounds so cute! thinkchocolate05, your lil boy and my lil girl need to stop scaring us with having quiet days! Babygirl here was real quiet over the weekend too, and it was really starting to freak MH&myself out. Luckily she's a lot more active again now. Keep it up babies! Though yeah I guess the worrying will never really go away.. but I do hope that once we have outside babies some of the anxiety will subside! king26, Oh no, so sorry to read you and YH both are sick! Feel better soon!!! I can definitely tell baby is running out of room in my bump as well, I love the wiggling but sometimes it's downright uncomfortable and painful heh. But I'll take any reassurance I can! elliecat17, good luck with your MW appointment, and I hope you'll report back with what she has to say about you loosing part of your plug and those pains and contractions! I have none of those signs just yet and makes me wonder whether babygirl simply is too cosy in there and has no plans of coming out any time soon (which freaks me out in itself as well haha as you know!). I'm sorry being so far away from your own family is hard on you right now - I can absolutely imagine! I've been feeling very isolated myself (and my family isn't even that far away/we have no contact really with MHs family) and it's hard. It'll be so nice for them to come visit you in September!

muscari So sorry that you are feeling down. You are almost there! I don't know how you've managed everything with the end of your work situation, breaking your ankle, etc. You've done so well and just a little bit longer. Yeah, the quiet days really drive me crazy. I worried for the past two days and now he's currently doing his best to kick the monitors off my belly during my routine NST appointment! He's already a little rascal.

Well MW says "oh well as long as there is no continuous trickle of thin liquid it's fine to loose the plug in bits". Baby is measuring 38 weeks, so still ahead. Head is low but not fully engaged yet. She seems to think I'm going all the way to term or beyond, because apparently what I described are just much stronger BH. *sigh* Oh! And she guessed that baby was about 6.5 lbs and would be a little over 7 at birth unless "you are hiding a bigger baby in there but I really don't think so". I am just amazed that they can can guess by feeling the outside.

Hugs to everyone. Will tag later when I'm not on mobile.
How far along are you? 37+5
How are you feeling (physically/emotionally)? P: meh. Hip and tailbone pain. General uncomfortableness. Tired. Starting to sleep worse than before. So much pressure on my crotch when I walk - I just want to lay around and do nothing. My feet are so swollen, it hurts to walk on them, even to move my toes around!
E: okay. He's been moving a lot so it reassures me. I get nervous when it gets close to an he and he hasn't moved but luckily he wakes up and then goes crazy. I just want him to come on his due date or like a day or two before. End of August is going to be triggery for me- last year on 8/22 was when we found out the baby was dead and I had the d&c on 8/25. I really, really don't want to be in the hospital or give birth on any of those days. I'd rather be nowhere near the hospital from the 22-25. I think I'll cry if his birthday lands on one of those dates. I've been trying not to think about it but....
Any appointments or milestones coming up this week? Appt today- no dilation or effacement. He is super low at a -1 station, but as my Dr says, eh that doesn't mean anything other then a lot of pressure for you.
Do you need any thoughts or prayers?im okay
Anything else you'd like to share? Nah
QoTW: What's your most favorite item you got for the nursery? We got this wooden painting/ frame thing off Etsy that says "I love you more than I can bear" with a mama bear and a baby cub on it. We call him our little bear cub so it's perfect for us. We need to find the right spot to hang it from!

muscari, I went to the store today and bought the last few things I needed for my hospital bag. Planning to pack tonight because mh is sleeping in our bedroom right now and I don't want to wake him with packing (he works nights). I wanted to check in with you. Where are you with packing?

I have pretty much finished my list, there are a couple of things I still need to get which I will do either tomorrow or have them delivered with our grocery delivery early next week. Just sucks- I ordered some nursing bras and got them today but they are all too small and uncomfortable! I guess the sizing chart on their side is just way off?? So now i have to return them and reorder in a different size booo. What kind of bag are you all using?? I only have a small carryon suitcase (or huge ass luggage pieces lol).. but it feels silly to buy a sportsbag or duffel just for this haha. And are you packing all in one bag or will baby have her own bag? How about YH s stuff?

muscari, I'm using a different bag cuz I already owned one. I think a small carry on is just fine though. I'm planning to put mh's stuff in the same bag cuz all he is bringing is a pair of comfy shorts and t-shirt to sleep in and a toothbrush. We only live 15 minutes from the hospital, so if we need to stay longer he can always go home to change, shower, or whatever. I packed baby's stuff in her diaper bag, which I'm planning to bring.

DH doesn't think he needs to pack anything bc we live so close to the hospital, so OKAY BUDDY-- you trek back and forth every time you realize you want something. #notmyproblem. I'm still debating on bringing the diaper bag for baby's stuff or just putting his stuff in my bag?? I also have like three things in my bag so 🤷🏻♀️

I put baby's stuff in the diaper bag. My stuff is in a small duffle, and I added a pair of sleep pants for H and a toothbrush. He needs to add the rest of his stuff, but he doesn't seem to think he needs anything because the hospital is so close.

elliecat17, addymac, cali, I don't have a diaperbag yet *g* I'm waiting for one in particular to come out for sale (again) that my cousin just totally LOVES - practical, sturdy and affordable. Should be back in store later in August or early September latest so I figured I'd use <something> in the interim LOL! Though come to think of it, the stroller I got came with a matching diaperbag as well.. I just didn't think it was practical at all so never thought of it no more - but it should be fine to use for now (now just to remember where i put it!)
