OK, one of the tracks on her new album is literally called But Daddy I Love Him. Others are also insufferable sounding. I'm glad she's releasing this in an election year. Let's just get it all done at once. And she ripped off the title for her new album from Joe. So he has group chat called The Tortured Man’s Club or something and her album is The Tortured Poet’s Department so absolutely a take on that. I mean, idk, she can do what she wants with her music and everyone around her knows she may or may not write about them in a positive or negative way. None of this should be a shock to her friends/exes/boyfriends. I’m sure I would feel differently if I was the ex. |

The tortured poet’s department sounds like something I would immediately run from.
But I’m not her target demo so there’s that.
DS is also over her because of the girls in 5th grade. He groans when her songs come on.
My confession is that while I like a few of her newer songs, my favorites will always be her cheesy teenage country songs.

Luvvie posted on her socials yesterday about ww fragility (it grew out of criticism of the award moment and ignoring Celine) and she lost 4k IG followers. WILD. |

I'm not even a Taylor hater, but the overexposure is intense. She would be wise to slow her roll for a few months. I agree but also she has been told she isn’t doing anything wrong and her fans absolutely are loving this. I think this has always been my problem and why I hate misogyny being thrown when we say that we are tired of seeing her and then get pointed out we’ll she is only shown for 24 seconds of a 3 hour game. Sure on the game but then turn on any media outlet and it’s constant conversation and coverage as is SM. One anchor on GMA said the highlight of the playoff game was their kiss after which is what was shown the most by the media and I think that takes away from the players that played in that game. Is that her fault no it’s the media. Do I think she relishes in it and could do less yes. But I’m misogynistic when I say that and I hate that because when there are truly misogynistic that I see it’s not called out This is what really gets me too. That Swifties have group appointed her some kind of goddess of feminism so to speak against her means you hate women or are a self-hating women/misogynistic/etc. It is absolutely the part that I hate the most. Is she doing anything to support intersectional feminism? No? Cool then shut the fuck up about her being a feminist icon. |

I have to say I appreciate the ability to discuss this here because I have so many Swiftie friends on SM and I don't make a point to directly target them and bash on what they like, because I still like them outside of their Swiftie insanity.
