December 28, 2023 This death house might have been demolished, but workers took a bunch of pieces home with them to sell online. Idaho Four House Gross. I enjoy true crime a lot, but this kind of stuff disgusts me. I thought of you the other day because I started a series on Britbox called Murder, Mystery, and My Family. It's fascinating watching these modern day barristers reexamine cases from 70-100 years ago and look at the evidence (and find new evidence) and put arguments before a judge to determine whether the verdicts were "safe."

Dave Grohl would like to be excluded from this narrative.

One of my proud mom facts is that my kid can quickly name 90s grunge bands when a song comes on.
And yes we do quiz him.

December 29, 2023 This foreign-born male rapper/singer not in a wheelchair could comfortably sell out theatres, but overplayed his hand by booking arenas. Now he’s pretending technical issues led to his tour being postponed, and not poor sales. The Kid LAROI Well not a lot of tweens have the budget for concerts. lol.

I’m really feeling a way that of all the cases Scott is getting time and energy from the innocence project But also our justice system is not great so I shouldn’t be feeling anything if he is truly innocent I am keeping the Fuck Scott Peterson energy and all the attention he’s gotten for being a mildly attractive white man until I’m proven wrong. Yes! He freaking told his girlfriend his wife was gone. Either he killed her or hired someone. Either way he deserves to rot

I need to go read it. Like, don't get me wrong, I do think that Scott is a shitty AF person as a whole and his entire day is shady, but again, reasonable doubt. If you podcast, R&EStC was really good about it. And it doesn't fully say if it's a possibility that he might have paid someone else to do it. That crossed my mind as well. But I guess that would be a different charge. I didn't realize he got the death penalty-- that has been dismissed according to the article. The death penalty part seems wild without solid evidence! I think he has dead eyes in his recent picture though Even if someone paid someone I believe murder charges still apply in addition to conspiracy to commit murder iirc because you don’t have to physically do it in order to cause the act. Or something like that. I don’t think he was ever linked to a financial transaction with anyone, at least nothing that I’ve seen. I firmly believe he is a piece of shit, but after watching tons of documentaries on it, listening to podcasts, etc…I do think there was tunnel vision involved and some reasonable doubt.

Yeah, I think it’s like a Casey Anthony sort of thing. She did it but the evidence wasn’t there. Yes I can see this. Plenty of innocent people are in jail that I’m ok with him getting through even if there was some possible reasonable doubt. The defense attorney didn’t do their job 🤷♀️

Because I know it’s not everyone’s cup of tea. And musically it is flawed. Like Dave’s not even that great of a singer. But Hootie. National treasure.

What is the reasonable doubt? I’m asking in a non-snarky way. It’s been awhile since I’ve read/heard/watched anything on it but some of the timing of the morning doesn’t add up. I think people saw her that morning which doesn’t align with their theory of him killing her on the 23rd. There were people breaking into homes in the area or something like that (some brothers?) and a suspicious van with a description of someone who may have been her with the van. From what I remember there also wasn’t any forensic evidence in the house and the case heavily relied on circumstantial evidence. There is also some discrepancies surrounding the autopsies but I won’t get into all that. Anyway, I don’t think he is a good guy and was a terrible husband. I also think he is incredibly unlikeable in many ways. For me, there may be reasonable doubt and I guess I’m not okay with a life sentence or the death penalty for being a shitty human if he is innocent. I know this is all a very unpopular opinion though. Also, caveat that the things I’ve watched or listened may be biased against the police so there is that too.

I’m not defending him either, just answering what I’ve learned from documentaries and podcasts. Now the Menendez brothers is another story. I think if that crime happened today, they wouldn’t have gotten the same sentence. I think they still would have served time, but would not have received a life sentence without the possibility of parole.

I recently saw pictures of that Barry person. I assumed he was getting a lot of attention because he was a trans man who now made it big as an actor. But I did some googling and I think he is just a person who has always been male. I think he is hot AF. Would do.

Does anyone follow Michelle Trachtenberg on IG? She posted some new photos of her hair, but people are really concerned about her looks and in one of the photos her eyes are very yellow, so commenters are concerned about her health and she is not happy about it. She also looks not at all like Michelle Trachtenberg. http://instagram.com/p/C2SX6YXrxrP

Scott is guilty as hell and I came to this conclusion reading the trial transcripts.
- He admitted to being at the scene of the crime on the day of the murders and there was physical evidence to show he was there that day (receipt). - He said he didn't see anyone else on the water on the day Laci was dumped into the bay. - His continued monitoring of where he dumped Laci in rental cars before anyone (else) knew Laci's body was even there. - He had two tarps he in the boat that day. One was found covered in gasoline inside his shed, another with fertilizer - both substances destroy DNA and also obscure tracking dogs from picking up a person's scent. - Laci's hair in the boat, including being found on a pair of of pliers inside the boat and he had no explanation for that. - The concrete anchors and the evidence to show he was the one who made them. - His lies about going golfing that day instead of fishing. - His lies that he stopped fishing that day because it was raining. It wasn't. - His lies that Laci was watching a cooking show when he left the house on Christmas Eve morning when it aired the previous day (likely the actual day of Laci and Conner's murder). - His lies about what he was fishing for (sturgeon) would not have been feasible with his boat or fishing equipment. - He told Amber that he didn't want any children and was planning to get a vasectomy. - His tossing their wedding album into a garbage can in his storage unit. - Him attempting to disguise his appearance and escape with his brother's identification and a bunch of cash.
- There's much more I could add but if you add in the already mentioned comments to Amber about him losing his wife and this being the first Christmas without his wife weeks before she died as well as him pretending to be in Paris at his wife and child's candlelight vigil, he is exactly where he belongs.

Her eyes do look yellow and on her IG they look yellowish is more than one photo. I thought maybe it was a filter but the other person in a different picture with her didn’t have yellow eyes.

This is tiny in relation to all of it, but he also subscribed to a porn channel days after she went missing. They had previously argued about him watching porn.
