Anyone have an induction range and have any feedback on it? I’ve been researching them, and I keep running into Samsung. They are well reviewed, and the price is right, but I am very suspicious of Samsung products in general. And it does sound like the customer service is not good. I can’t fit a cooktop and an oven in my kitchen, so it would have to be one unit.
I currently have gas, and I don’t dislike it, but the induction option looks interesting and possibly more efficient.

It’s honestly one of the only things I miss from my old house. It was quick, even, super responsive. Only thing is you need to make sure your pots and pans are compatible (have to be magnetic, basically). I loved it and want to change out my current inefficient and annoying electric glass top range asap.
My exILs had a Samsung induction range with two ovens (like a smaller one above a bigger one), and they had no issues with it.

I will never not have an induction cooktop. I came from gas and our induction cooktop is one of my favorite things abt our kitchen remodel. It is truly a joy to cook on, so quick and responsive and cleanup is a breeze! I don’t have any experience with Samsung products, sorry. But YES to induction!

I only have experience with the IKEA single induction burner and it was great. I still use it if I need an extra burner. I wouldn’t mind an induction cooktop but I am still using the gas range that was here when I moved in.
The only con is you’d have to use pots/pans that are induction friendly. I have a friend who has to get rid of whatever set she had bc it wouldn’t work with her new induction cooktop. If you already have them, no big deal. I loved that I could still use cast iron pots/pans with them.

We have a Frigidaire induction cooktop. I love it. As others have said, it’s very responsive. Water boils in a flash. Cleaning it is so easy. I’ll never have another type of cooktop.

The house we bought had an electric cooktop which we replaced with induction. We have the Frigidaire professional 5 burner cooktop. I do miss my old gas cooktop but we like that the induction cooktop doesn’t put out a lot of ambient heat. We did have to replace some cookware and I’m careful with what I buy. Some stockpots say that they are induction compatible but it’s only the base so if it’s a big pot, it could take a while to heat the sides.
Overall I do like the maintenance of it. My one regret is that the model we have has knobs which are a pain to clean.

Thanks for the feedback, everyone! I feel better about going for it now. Part of the draw of the Samsung is that it comes with free cookware. My set is a few non-stick pieces I’ve had for ages, so I won’t miss it.

We've had induction for years and I feel like I'm spoiled and couldn't use anything else anymore. It's so fast and easy.
