I need new sheets. I spent $$ on Brooklinen ones 7 months ago and I hate them (they stained like crazy despite bleaching them every wash and they don’t stay on my mattress well). I just learned they have a generous return policy though and will be sending them back, so I need to get some new ones ordered ASAP. Previously I had Threshold sheets from Target and they’re fine, but I’d love any other suggestions. I’m looking for cotton, either percale or sateen, and I want to be able to buy them in separates (we don’t use a flat sheet). I don’t mind spending some money on them, I just don’t want to find myself with $300 worth of sheets that I hate again.

The Opal house from Target is nice if you like the Jungalow/world market vibes.

Cozy Earth. We've bought bougie sheets because I have insomnia issues and this is one area I will splurge on. These are the comfiest, softest, and best quality hands down that we have tried. Wish they weren't so pricey.

I love the Kirkland signature sheets from Costco. I would pay way more for them, and I’ve had good experience with them lasting. We did have one pair that got a weird rip within a year but it’s Costco so their return policy is the best and we just returned them and got new ones.

Ugh I need some too. I always just grab something that appears a fancy name brand from TJMaxx and it almost never works out. They always slip off the mattress despite saying extra deep, some that were loud. It was the weirdest thing ever, as if the sheets were made out of mattress protector material so every time we rolled it sounded like plastic. The only ones we lucked out on are from DKNY which we basically wash and put back on over and over because we hate all the others lol

I slept on them at an Airbnb and liked them so much I had to check the tag to see the brand. And you cannot beat the price.

Ordered some from Amazon. Dealuxe extra deep (21"). These are the only sheets I've found that are truly deep enough. We have soft side waterbeds with pillow tops so they are thick.

Soft side water bed?! This sounds awesome. How does it compare to old school water beds? And if you read the blinds, is this what Dax and Kristen had?

I like the casaluna percale from Target. They need two or three washes to soften up, but then they're lovely.
eta that's their "higher end" brand of bedding, but it's still approachable.

I love my Brooklinen sheets so maybe take my suggestion with a grain of salt, but I have heard Costco sheets are great, and really reasonably priced.

But the elastic is terrible compared to my old Target sheets, and I don’t know why they stained so badly. They look like they belong to a 21 year old guy that washes his sheets once a semester when he brings his laundry home to mom.

I don't read the blinds, so I don't know who Dax and Kristen are. From looking at the bed you can't tell it's a water bed. They have come a long way since the days of bladder mattresses with full motion. You can get practically motionless. I'm a side sleeper and the mattress gives in the hip area where a regular mattress doesn't. You can control how firm you want it by the amount of water you add, and of course there's a heater to warm the water so it isn't too cold. I've had water beds since the 90's.

My favorite sheets are Simply Vera Wang brand from Kohl's. They're older, so I don't know if they're the 600 count or 800 count, but they've remained crisp yet soft and I love them.

The Kirkland sheets are $15 off through the end of the month for anyone looking.
I think I’m going to try the LL Bean ones, since I’m a weirdo that uses a king fitted sheet but standard pillowcases. I might hold off for a bit and hope for a sale, since the ones I want are back ordered anyway.

I almost contributed that I love the hotel brand from Macy’s but they’re pricy AF. I betray myself.

I love quick zip sheets. We have them on our king bed (and so does DD2), in all the different materials. So easy to wash, plenty deep, very comfy, last super well. Lots of people used them as crib sheets, but maybe didn't know they make them for regular beds too. quickzip.com/products/quickzip-flat-sheets
