I actually never read Perez on my own but my coworker did at the time so she would show me stuff sometimes. I did do Us weekly and those types of magazines.

I was obsessed w Perez. During that crazy time when Lilo was getting arrested every night, I would wake up and run to Perez to see what he was covering from LA nightlife.
And DListed. I worshipped Michael K.

I played a few seasons of celebrity fantasy league, where we got points from getting-out-of-car-underwear shots, ODs, sex scandals, and deaths.
I was such a consumer of all that tabloid news.

I did not see the abortion bombshell. But it doesn't surprise me. I think I'm more surprised they let kfed happen. Oh I’m not surprised it happened and I feel like it’s been rumored before. Her including it in the book was a surprise. |

Jada said that she didn’t attend the Oscars as Will’s wife but left his wife.
That right there is why yes Will is a grown man who makes his own choices but damn if she didn’t somehow manipulate him into thinking he had to do something

Perez didn't happen until a couple years later (felt so long at the time to an early 20 something, lol) but I was definitely reading in the early days. The aughts were wild and terrible all around for women. |

I did not see that coming. I really assumed he had cheated butttt, Sophia and this girl filed for their respective divorces within a month of each other, which was a couple of weeks after they had sat on a panel together. |
