It says the choice was mutual so it really shouldn't be negative toward either one, but yeah I agree Justin's PR is probably not happy She said she wouldn’t have done it if he didn’t push her to so it makes him come off bad |

I still don’t know how I feel about it They were pretty young and at the height/beginning of careers so I get it being not a good time. But that's sad if she was forced into it. Yes. I feel that men should obviously get a say on raising a child but there are also ways to take that responsibility off of them without abortion if the woman wants to keep the baby. It’s a slippery slope. But also I guarantee her dad had a say too, but put it all on Justin. Justin is the worst anyway though so I’m not surprised |

One of my fav current pastimes is digging into culture regarding women in the late 90s/early 2000s. There is so much fascinating content. But particularly around young female celebrities. Like in the Brittany doc on Hulu I was shocked at how the paparazzi swarmed her and what they would say. Even though I lived through it and was a consumer of those pictures etc as an avid US Weekly reader and E! “News” watcher. And compilations of the types of questions they would get asked during late night TV interviews. I mean, everything was so out of line by today and like basic human kindness standards. But it was totally normal at that time. It’s a wonder any of us have any positive mental health left.

Perez was the worst Perez was my go-to time waste in college. It was the first and last thing I would check and I loved it. It was so fucking mean-spirited and absolute trash and I can't believe we all were ok with it. I do wish Gawker was still around though. |

I mentioned this in the BB thread but I was watching an old season from 2004 since they are on Paramount and watching 2004 reality tv almost 20 years later is incredibly sobering for similar reasons. The way the cishet men treated the women and the gay man on the show and it was just put into the edited primetime television...it was so gross and shocking to me, even though I know I watched it in real time back then and barely blinked.

We had grown ass men talking to young women about their breasts and virginity. It was awful. Meanwhile Justin is getting fucking high-fives from everyone talking about how he had sex with her.
I wish NSYNC would do a reunion tour but without him. He doesn’t deserve to be in the presence of the other 4 guys!
