I'm not going to lie, I hated the Harden trade. I thought he was washed and a diva. His performance has been better this season than I expected but he's still a diva. Philly will love a diva as long as they play well, though.

We're a divided household, and it was pretty tense here last night! I don't even care that much about basketball, and us Philly fans have been let down too many times in recent memory, so my hopes were not high (especially with no Embiid!). I was shocked we won. I think my SO was too.

I don't follow sports closely so please hear me out. My niece is supposed to graduate from Sacramento State the weekend of May 18. Now her ceremonies may be postponed if the Warriors make it that far and need the arena. Is this normal for NBA playoffs/finals to displace already scheduled events?
Edit: I'm hearing this second hand from my MIL who is flying to SAC just for the graduation. So ignore me if she's telling me wrong info.

i'd say no, not normal and typically games can be scheduled around arena availability. however, contracts can vary and it could be something like **NOT SAYING THIS IS TRUE IT IS ONLY A HYPOTHETICAL** the college got a cheaper price on the space bc they were willing to be flexible or whatever. 

if taylor swift was scheduled to be somewhere, you better believe they'd adjust the game schedule accordingly. know what i mean?
