It’s super warm here today but I’m lazy. Hotdogs and potato salad for dinner tonight I think. Unless I get convince my family to go to a restaurant with outdoor seating. That would be even better.

Fish tacos! DH and discovered that we both like fish stick tacos, so we’ve been having that a lot recently. It’s not fancy, but I’m happy to be having fish of some kind.

I got a rotisserie chicken and threw together salads that were mostly veggies/beans/cheese.

Yesterday was chicken Tikka masala and rice. In the go, b/c double soccer night
Tonight, I made lamb bone soup with leftover Easter lamb. Kids said it's a keeper 😁
Tomorrow, my SIL is coming over, so I got real fancy and picked up a veggie lasagna and garlic bread from Costco 😜
I've been running solo half the week, so the weekend might be S's turn to cook (which he loves, so I'm sure he'll be happy to cook real food after traveling)

We had McD's because it was a baseball night and I was ill-prepared.

Left over spaghetti for the kids. Pizza for us. I’m tired.
It’s chaos here, but I need to use stuff up in the fridge. We have a new fridge and dishwasher coming on Tuesday! The fridge in the new house is older and most of the shelves have cracks. Plus the ice maker has a whole in the tray (what?!?!). The dishwasher doesn’t drain properly. We googled it and that was a common issue with the model.

Overall are you happy with the new place sarenu? Does it feel homey yet? I feel like some houses feel homey right away and some need to be lived in for awhile.

We have a long list of to do items. And it will feel like home once the pet smell is gone. I definitely get your point, cause the first month it very much felt like we were visiting or renting a vacation home. Imposter syndrome is real. May we will have 2 new doors installed, wood floors installed in 3 rooms to remove pet smells and very old carpeting, a wine rack changed to a cabinet, outlet installed in the island, and hopefully a remodel of the pantry (I loath closet maid wire shelving, it’s a pain to clean properly).
