So many Berners refused to vote for HRC. They were so convinced she had it in the bag, they threw away their vote.

The singer/muse has been getting trashed the past week about one of her song choices and who she is supporting by doing it. So, what does she do? Announces her engagement. It will probably fade away like most of her recent relationships.

March 30, 2023 The actor/killer is pushing back against his wife who wants him to put all his money into a trust for her and their kids. They have been down this road before, but he is adamant about not doing it. I wonder if there is trouble in the marriage. No more cucumbers. Alec Baldwin/Hilaria Baldwin Unrelated (kind of), I have noticed that since the charges were dropped, Hillary is leaning back into her annoying spammy IG posting. I just can’t unfollow though. I love to see how many times she posts raving about a product and saying it’s not an ad but you can totally tell she wants the brand to reach out to her to do some kind of partnership/deal.

I feel like a lot of men leaned into Bernie because they mentally couldn’t get behind a woman but going all in on Bernie helped them still keep their liberal card. In my experience the people who leaned into Bernie did so because his policies were extremely different to what anyone else was bringing forward, especially for the 2016 run. It’s almost like you’re saying primaries are just to vote for the person you like because they all have the same ideas/all democrats hold the same beliefs. I mean, if that’s the narrative you want to create years later, sure. But Bernie Bros were a thing. We were all there.

Bernie supporters helped Trump win 1000000% because Bernie made it so that people would rather not vote than vote for her. Was it every supporter no but it was a good enough majority of never Hillary. I said it earlier in this thread and I stand by it 🤷♀️🤷♀️ Thanks for continuing the conversation and responding (serious). Do you have any evidence to support that Bernie made it so people would not vote rather than vote for Hillary? It could be argued he did as much as he possibly could. He did 39 rallies for Clinton in 13 states over the final three months of the 2016 general election. Lurker chiming in here. I remember Bernie took an excruciatingly long time to concede to Hillary. He sat by while his supporters went apeshit bashing her. He could have really tried to unite the party but instead seemed to have an extra long pity party. He only supported her begrudgingly imo.

Even if you had a tangible number, blame this shithole country for having an electoral college then. I don’t know if you just Encino Man’d out of a glacier and you missed all of 2016, but, that’s what happened. Most of us spent the next year unpacking it.

Please explain how Hilary and Bernie were totally the same and the only different is that Hillary is a woman and that’s why people chose to support Bernie in the primaries. Lol. Where did I say that??

Lol. Where did I say that?? “I feel like a lot of men leaned into Bernie because they mentally couldn’t get behind a woman” Yes. Where did I say they were the same? I said they threw away their vote. Which they did. A number of Bernie supporters refused to vote for HRC. I believe 10% voted for Trump. Nowhere did I say they are the same. If you want to fight, please use the words I am typing.

People here in PA told me to my face that they just didn't vote for president. A state that Clinton lost despite the votes delivered by Philly. A lot of people came from other states to volunteer here in the weeks running up to the election. I worked with them. I spent more time with walk packets and flip phones and VoteBuilder that fall than I did with my husband. And these fucking Berners just threw a whole tantrum because their guy wasn't the nominee. I'm still mad. I probably always will be.

Having a conversation with a Bernie supporter feels the same as having a conversation with a Trump supporter. Neither listens to logic and both are driven by nothing but emotion. Ding ding ding

That it's imagined that there were men who picked Bernie bc they didn't want to vote for a woman.
That's actually funny.

Remember when Romney seemed terrible? Pepperidge Farm remembers. I remember being outraged at the story of his dog being strapped to his car thinking that would tank a presidential campaign. You know, back in the day before ::waves hands:: all of this nonsense in the news constantly.

But if he’s not on the ticket, I’m voting Trump.” Make it make sense. You are soooo liberal, you want Bernie but you are voting Trump when the liberal candidate is ….. hmmm, a woman? Like, facts are facts.

I am also confused where you said Clinton and Sanders are the same (lol), how it's being deliberately ignored that Bernie Bros are a thing bc a woman had a different motivation, and still on how Bernie is remaining to be seen as progressive in this day and age. Perhaps I just don't have the time.

I always reference an article I read right after Trump won. It said how every candidate and/or President in the past, you may disagree with them on every issue, but at the end of the day, you assume they are a decent human being. They love their kids, they want the best for the country, etc. etc. Trump is the first candidate that doesn’t have that. He’s just a bad guy.

I just remember how preposterous it was. He really wanted credit for his innovative "equality" idea. And he gave us Paul "Arm Day" Ryan.

These are big feelings considering there were people in the last couple pages who talked about going to other countries if they had the opportunity. No one said you couldn't call it a shithole country. Good grief.

I remember before the election, Colin Powell gave a speech basically saying "he is a bad person and completely unfit to be president and must be stopped." And I was like, COLIN POWELL. Listen to him! They did not listen to him.
