March 29, 2023 There was talk of a movie franchise that originated from a late night sketch, being rebooted. The talks didn't last long because the two stars still can't stand each other. Wayne's World/Saturday Night Live/Dana Carvey/Mike Myers Good. No one wants this.

March 28, 2023 Speaking of the former reality star who was treated fairly poorly in the reveals today, she has already made plans with the alliterate almost A- list actress to have baby play dates when the actress has her baby. The dates will of course be photographed and sold to tabloids like the good old days. Paris Hilton/Lindsay Lohan I can’t wait for this, honestly.

Sofia Richie’s wedding looked beautiful but I don’t understand why it is all over my FYP. And not just people saying how lovely the wedding was - it’s people saying it was the wedding other celebrities wish they had done. Or how they wanted theirs to received by the public, specifically Kourtney and Nicola Peltz. I can see this for NP, she seems like a thirsty socialite. Kourtney, DGAF. One look at all her atrocious wedding attire tells me that.

Considering how hated she was among her fellow pro dancers, this new hosting gig for a multiple time reality star who has also tried her hand at acting, should be very interesting.

Ugh, waking up to Biden announcing his run is not how I wanted to start my day.

Ugh, waking up to Biden announcing his run is not how I wanted to start my day. He's too old. It's frustrating. But he's too old.

YES. Enough with the very old white men. I was really hoping he would give the reigns over and enjoy his life.

Ugh, waking up to Biden announcing his run is not how I wanted to start my day. So many people are content with Biden because he isn’t Trump. That bar is….not high.

It’s been known he was going to announce for weeks, months, even. Since he won in 2020. Idk what people are expecting from people who get a taste of that power after an entire career working up to it. Not that I’m thrilled, by any means.

Unfortunately I think this SNL sketch is accurate. Who else do we have that can win?

Is it even a power trip though? I wasn't under the impression anything was really gonna happen besides two terms since he'd been elected.
I'm not thrilled about it, so I understand that part but I don't think anything else was really going to happen, right?

Nobody wants to be known as a one term president, because we can name all those (recent) on one hand.

A really good one on infrastructure. I'll vote for him and sleep ok. ::shrug::

It's pretty normal for them to run for re-election. This is a weird take, to me. eta were people under the impression he wouldn't run again? Why?

It’s definitely ego. Clearly, I’ll vote for him but it’s not what’s best for the country. It’s about him wanting to be a two-term president. And dragging out an announcement until spring 23 isn’t great. Behind the scenes, they should have been making a plan to bring some younger Democrats to the forefront.
Honestly, I don’t know if he can beat Trump again. And I truly don’t think he will win against DeSantis. That’s what’s so maddening. White men will put their egos first and we all have to deal with the repercussions.

I don’t think it’s ego. I think it’s the sadly best option for the Dems bc our country is so fucked, sexist, and racist that MVP would never get elected and the optics of Joe not running and then MVP not being the candidate would be awful. Grumble grumble.

For me, I love Pete. If America is ready for a gay candidate, that’s a separate convo. We all know how a woman did. But, if I had my pick of who should be the next candidate, that’s my guy. But, there are other viable people in the Democratic Party: Gavin, Cory, Gretchen, Elizabeth, Amy, Kamala. Some of them aren’t my picks, but there are options. I WILL NOT SAY BERNIE. I agree with you, none of them feel like it’s their time. And I think that goes back to what I said, that behind the scenes, we should have been bringing them to the spotlight, so it feels like a presidential trajectory. Much like the R’s have been doing with White Boots DeSantis.

I guess I no longer can play the "I wish it were so" game w this, after Trump beating Hilary. It's just brass tacks who has the best shot, and that is Biden at this point.

We can say oh we love Pete or Bob or Katie or whomever but the last 8 years have clearly showed us that this country won’t elect a woman, a minority (again, any time soon), an LGBTQ…. Basically anyone except a white male. So an old white Hetero male is the best option against Trump America.
