I find Pier One expensive for everything, and I don't know about the stores there but the ones here are soooo overwhelming, cramped aisles and everything displayed too close together, it's awful. I think they have fun stuff but I agree it's expensive and I can never justify the cost. When I duck in, it's usually to check out any clearance and then leave. Home Goods and World Market are my favorite places. This! I think I've purchased 5 things from Pier 1. I'm afraid to go in the store now that I have kids and feel like I could only go alone. Everything seems to sit on the floor too and I can only imagine the amount of items my toddler would break. No way can my double stroller make it through that store without breaking something! sophiegrace The unicorn!!! Girl needs a proper throne. goldenlove and sophiegrace - I didn't keep track lol, I counted. I think my last bump pic is a couple days before induction. jubilantsquirrel So I guess hose won't be getting passed down to #3. That's a trick statement to see what you say about #3 I'd love a #3! I just need someone to convince MH that we need a 3rd kid. He gets all logical on me and says we'll need to buy a bigger car and house. Who cares, gives me another adorable child!

I'm sorry I've been MIA, we've been running around, our home internet is being hinky, bff lost her job and is losing her house she thinks. It's just been a long couple of days. L has been rocking it in child watch! I'll try to catch up but it may not happen!

So I just learned that our building is up for lease right now and I guess people have been touring it. I'm curious to know if they're going to keep us in this same area or not. Our location used to be corporate, but about 3 years ago they moved corporate to Chicago, so who knows. They've been consolidating branches and our building is mostly AR/AP with some smaller groups of people in HR, IT, legal and tax as well as a handful of project managers. They could easily move the smaller groups out to Chicago and then consolidate the rest to various branches. Of course no one knows anything.

I'm sorry. Would you go to Chicago if that option was given to you or would you look for employment elsewhere in your current location do you think?

Unicorn chair bought. 🦄✨🌈 Christmas shopping is officially underway.
It's the one I wanted, but there's still this piece of me that pushes hard to keep as much of the house neutral as possible. I'm slowly losing this battle.
And now I'm going to go hide my amex.

I wish we had World market here! H sometimes buys stuff from them when he's in the US for work. Jealous he gets to look around. That pic had me laughing jubilantsquirrelsophiegrace The unicorn chair is so cute. And it's not obnoxious colors; it's practically neutral!

Yeah, it could be a big deal, especially since I hold the insurance for me and the boys. I knew our lease was up or about to be up, but it never occurred to me that they wouldn't renew it. I personally wouldn't mind relocating, but MH would never do it. He's Seattle for lyfe and has zero desire to live anywhere else. But honestly, my job isn't really worth relocating for. So we'll see. I feel like these things don't usually move very quickly and when they consolidate branches they gives several months notice, so I don't think they'll blind side us or anything either.

sophiegrace now you need the unicorn line from Skip Hop, it's adorable. I was going to buy it for J but Bennett insisted that J liked the ladybug set better, so I got that.

Not my first choice but whatever Not sure why he needs two of them but he was going on and on about having a safe place for his special cars so she doesnt touch them. Again, whatev's kid 🤷♀️

Look closely at the mirror on page 12. It looks like there's a sliding glass door... in the shower? And I also can't figure out what's in the gazebo. At first I thought it was a table with a fire pit, but I don't think that's it. Now I'm thinking it's a table where you gut and clean fish, but that doesn't really make any sense. IDK. It's so weird.

FFTC I had to look up how many weeks M is. I stopped keeping track once she got to 16 weeks. Maybe 18 weeks...but that's pushing it. Me too. I stopped counting weeks awhile ago. I did have them marked on my Google calendar though so I was able to figure it out easily. I couldn't even remember how many weeks I was when he was born. Also the last bump pic I took was 10 days before he was born. Yeah my last one is from 39 weeks exactly, so 4 days before she was born. I think I'm going to do a pic when she's 39 weeks and then another at 39+4 even though I don't have a "proper" comparison pic. I think I'll do a 40 weeks one too because I took one with her on the outside on our due date and it's kinda cool. I haven't decided which one is best so I figure I'll just do all three so I don't miss an opportunity and regret it later.

I think the end is near for my big dog. He is 13, showing neurologic deficits in his back legs particularly and I just don't think he can physically make the move. I had to carry him downstairs this morning. He's 80lbs. I have so much guilt about the situation even though a three story townhome is clearly not working out for him.
