I started playing tennis again. My dad always told me "its a sport you can play your whole life". I had much too much of it coming out of college, but its felt really good to go hit once a week now, non-competitively. Once I got over the fact that I wasn't playing with him, which is the only times I'd played in the last 20 years.
Also P reading MMS.

My kids being much less reliant on me to do basic things every day MMS. It’s better for all our relationships.
We also have big trips coming up in the spring and trip planning is my love language. Working out all the details/booking things MMS.

Power yoga.
I found a great studio, great teacher that is challenging, willing to help, and doesn’t take it too seriously.

Oh. Also my dog. Remember we got a puppy? I spend so much time watching her run and play with her doggo friends. P absolutely loves the dog park too and knows all their names (it’s an open field not a regular park. She has her own instagram. She sleeps in our bed and keeps me company all day. All smiles.

IMMS to wear my ugly Christmas sweater (elf body with literal pom pom feet so I look like an elf) knowing my kids love it now but will be so embarrassed when they're teens.

IMMS to see just how excited F is for Christmas this year. He was a bit excited last year, but this year he's really understanding and is able to participate a lot more =)

Wearing my galaxy dress today. I know dresses aren’t for everyone, but sometime I just like to feel pretty.

Taking a 2 year old Siberian husky for a walk and trip to the park this morning in the sunshine made us all smile! Sadly, our city animal shelter is at full capacity but started a Dog's Day Out to let residents take a dog out for walks or overnights. We can't have a dog at our rental house so this morning's outing was the perfect thing for our family. Then there were people in the waiting room to take dogs out for the afternoon we returned! I do hope all the dogs get adopted soon so the shelter doesn't need outside help. This board and especially rugger helped me learn to love dogs so this could've been in Randoms or here LOL.

DGM the dog day out sounds like a perfect way to enjoy a dog for a few hours when you can’t have one full time. I don’t know what is going on that so many animal shelters are full - Z had to rehome his ex-girlfriend’s dog (she left her with Z when she moved out and she refused to take her back) because he couldn’t move with 2 dogs. All animal shelters in a 100 mile radius of where we used to live, where we currently live, and where my brother lives were all full - we called to see if animal shelters would be an option of last resort. Fortunately, he was able to find a new family for her. Folks are returning their pandemic pets. When lots of people were spending all of their time at home they got lots of pets. But now their lives have changed and don't have room for them and the pets are going back to shelters.

A very professional, put together employee accidentally wrote "bitch certificate" instead of "birth certificate" when referring to a new hire's paperwork and I am chuckling heartily. Some people are definitely certified bitches, but hopefully this new hire isn't one.

I was editing a paper last week about smart fibers in clothing and a graphic mentioned a fiber in "the shit". Made sure to change that to shirt before we published but it gave me a good chuckle.

In one of the very first communications with the former owners of the company that I bought, they mistyped the first word of their own company name as "Fart" which was fantastic. I'm very careful of that one now that the company is mine.
