1. I always think "I need to remember this for check in!" Then I can't. Umm... oh! We've been wrestling with her on our bed now and again. Today we got home and she climbed up in the bed and immediately flailed to the side! Also, she loves being a ghost under her blanket.
2. She's doing really well in general. Always increasing her vocab. Today she sat on her potty seat and didn't freak. I'm not putting any pressure on her, but I figure I might as well get her used to the idea.
3. She's been biting DH. And only him.
QOTW: I crochet. Sometimes.

1) He made a joke! He has some scrapes on his elbow and today he said "I don't have elbow, I have elboo" and asked for bandaids for his elboo (boo) 2) He has been saying "I want you mama" when he means to say (or I think he means to say) "I miss you." 3) He also says "go away, I don't want you." He can be mean! I know he doesn't really know what he is saying, and we are working and it with him, but toddlers can be brutal! QOTW: I used to be into stamping. Then beading. Then scrapbooking. Then cross stitch. I go through phases

1. She is into pretending to be an airplane lately. She runs around the house with her arms out to the sides saying "zoom! Zoom!" And then slides down on her belly to land.
2. I'm truly astonished by her speech. She told me today "mommy's books there. Don't touch mommy's books, me!" I think it's so cute that instead of saying "I [do something]" she says me at the end instead ("sit down, me!" "Color, me!") She also sometimes refers to herself as baby in the third person and adds baby on the end ("read the book, baby me!")
3. Well her current favorite thing is to say "no! Do it, me!" About all. The. Things. Spoiler alert, she cannot do them. Tears inevitably ensue.
QOTW: I am sadly completely un-crafty

1. What hilarious thing(s) did your tot do this week? (Give us a laugh!) She stole H's headphones one day, but apparently really hates his music. She started crying, but wouldn't take them off (she's kind of obsessed with headphones). When the music stopped she was happy again, still wearing the headphones. Yesterday, she was wearing her headphones and I was switching through Pandora stations trying to find a new one for her. The Disney station also brought her to tears. Lol 2. What made you go aww? (Happy things here!) I have a Molly Bear for Jackson and she's been refusing to go to sleep at night without cuddling with it first. It's possibly the cutest thing ever. 3. What made you want to crawl back into bed? (Challenges go here!) She was sick Fri-Mon and woke me up Monday morning by vomiting all over my chest/bed. Worst wake up call ever. 4. Share a pic from the week, if you please! She pushes this cooler around all day, every day. She fills it with toys/food, climbs in/out, uses it for balance as she practices running, etc.

mellyknu, thanks for the check-in! 1. We had the step ladder in his room to work on the curtain rod. He climbed to the top and said "I'm big!" and did a happy dance. It was cute and funny and impressive that he put that together. 2. I got home yesterday not long after H and Nathan. Nathan saw my car pulling into the driveway and kept saying "Hi! Momma! Hi! Hi! Momma!" 3. He has been biting lately. Hard, and mostly me. My little vampire has left me with quite a few marks. mellyknu, you should be happy it's just your DH! QOTW: scrapbooking and knitting when I have time. Which has been less often, lately!

I've just gently pulled her off and said "that's not gentle. You need to be gentle with mama!" And stroke her cheek or something to demonstrate gentle. DH can't seem to stop himself from reacting which just sets her off giggling.

1. I took both boys to the park recently and they had a blast jumping off a platform. G laughed right before he went, then fell directly on his butt and laughed some more.
2. He is learning what goes together and what doesn't. Example, chocolate milk. He was recently introduced to this and now knows that the syrup bottle and milk jug go together. He also thinks peanut butter and a spoon go together, nothing else. Crackers and PB? Heck no. Just the jar and spoon.
3. The clingy stage is still going strong. Kid won't let me do anything without holding him. Makes for some interesting chores.
QOTW - I'm not creative, or don't consider myself to be anyway. I used to do cross stitching with my mom when I was young. Lately, I've tried my hand at Bible journaling.

We are learning, though, and we get very serious and stern and tell him that biting is not ok. I currently have two little scabs on my belly where he got me last :/

1. I love how he plays and chats with his toys now. Making car noises or having the animals talk. It's adorably funny and I love it.
2. He's been so so good about saying Please and Thank you. It's the cutest.
3. After spending 3 days with family (mon-wed) he was a MESS yesterday. There were so many tantrums and hitting and saying no.
QOTW: after the kids go to bed at night I've been picking up cross stitching. It's super relaxing and lets me zone out for a while. Which is nice after the hectic days.

Thanks mellyknu! 1. She is such a ham. She took a shoe flash card pic and tried to put it on her foot yesterday then got mad. I laughed. Also, on Monday, we went to the pool. About an hour in, she put her toy town, waved at her friends and walked to the exit door. I guess she was done?! I took her back to the pool and she did the exact same thing again. 2. She is so snuggly. She is starting to give me actual kisses on the mouth! 3. Nights have been horrible. Horrible. I would use all the bed I can get! ETA QOTW: I knit (but I suck). That's all!

I'm legit LOLing at the flash card. Had to explain to coworkers what I was laughing about.
