There's no new information, really... Because legalities. But you can sense the raw emotion in all three of them and that's tough.

Actually, that's quite a bit more information than I thought we would get.
They were informed by fans Labor Day weekend that Ned was seen with an employee engaging in shenanigans, and he was officially removed from the company on September 16th. That seems really fast, but I guess him admitting to the relationship helped speed things along with the internal investigation.

All three of them stumbled on their words at some point, and that is unusual for them. I hope they take it one day at a time and are able to figure it out.

I watched the video twice. Once to hear the message and the second time to watch their faces when they weren’t talking. They are all so angry and broken hearted.

I am wondering if Alex’s silence is because she is suing 2nd Try.

I am wondering if Alex’s silence us because she is suing 2nd Try. I think Eugene's statement about kindness towards women applied to both Ariel and Alex. There are so many ways Ned's and Alex's relationship could have started behind closed doors, and I wonder if it was a case of power dynamics (boss hitting on employee) rather than a mutual fling. We might never know unless Alex makes a statement contradicting Ned's "consensual workplace relationship" comment.

People are already starting with shaming Ariel for maybe staying with him.
She has a two very, very young kids.
And it’s not her fault.
I figured that was a big part of Eugene’s point. He’s good friends with her, he s clearly so mad.

He’s good friends with her, he s clearly so mad. I know someone who stayed. Almost the same situation, though she was still pregnant woth number 2, and it was an emotional affair that turned into one night of physical. It was like a quarter life crisis plus another kid coming. It’s hard for her, every day. She says she still has flashbacks and what ifs and trust issues, but she has her reasons for staying. She says the world is a lot if gray. It’s not as black and white “just leave him” like she had always thought.

I had never heard of the Try Guys before all of this but honestly the way they've handled it makes me want to check them out.

Eugene showed the most anger and disgust in his face. If looks could kill…
I am not usually one to believe “we only found out when the internet did!” type statements, but I believe them.

Eugene showed the most anger and disgust in his face. If looks could kill… I am not usually one to believe “we only found out when the internet did!” type statements, but I believe them. I absolutely feel like they just found out over Labor Day. I think maybe they knew that Ned was flirtatious when drunk, but thought he'd never do anything over the line. Then to find out he had a "relationship" with an employee, knowing what it would do to their brand, their business, the endorsements, their friends, and families. They are all rightfully furious and heartbroken and stressed, and you can absolutely see each of them displaying a different emotion in that video. But it all comes down to being sad that they lost someone who seemed like a brother for such a dumb reason.

I guess Eugene is besties with Ariel, I didn't realize that. So I have to imagine he's so mad. Plus, he's a child of divorce caused by infidelity. I'm sure this is deeply triggering for him on a lot of levels, thinking of the little boys involved.

I also think Eugene was ready to be done with TG, and got pulled in by Ned who came up with the company idea.
And he's been absent a lot more lately, probably figuring he could do other projects bc the company was chugging along. Once again, he's either going to be pulled in or have to hurt people.
This is why this situation is really not your "average" celeb cheating scandal. Ned fucked over so many people, and though his family are the biggest victims here, there are a lot of others who are having to make major life decisions bc he couldn't just not fuck someone who wasn't his wife.

TBH there is a bit of satisfaction in him losing his job and his friends in the process. Way too often the men who do this just get to continue on with no consequences while their wives are left to deal with it emotionally. It's nice that they're not letting him off the hook.

Eugene has been working on a YA novel due out in 2024, and did some voice over work for a movie due out next year. I think he still is invested in the TryGuys, but wanted to be able to branch out a bit. I hope he is still able to do that without guilt, once they get back on their feet a bit.

I had never heard of the Try Guys before all of this but honestly the way they've handled it makes me want to check them out. Same. I’m really impressed by how they spoke in that video. It should be the norm but it’s just not. I also just feel for them on the HR/legal front. In my old company I had to deal with a couple of messy HR situations with employees or colleagues and it is so stressful. I was in high up positions but not company owners and it was scary and stressful and every day was like “ugh. Why couldn’t x have just acted right so I didn’t have to deal with this?”

Is Eugene the guy on the left? Because he is LIVID and you can feel it in that video. This is the first time I have ever watched anything with them, and damn. That is some raw emotion there.
I think they handled this in a very classy way and I like them.

You can tell they are reading from a teleprompter with a statement that their lawyers fine combed and signed off on.
But then each guy has a time or two when they just break and it's so hard to watch.

He went absent because of his other projects that he had been working on for a very long time. Some of them for longer than the Try Guys existed. They all just happened to come to fruition at the same time. He replied to speculation that he was backing away from the company with an emphatic no. I think that the fact that he has made a conscious choice to stay when he clearly has more options adds to his anger that Ned would just throw it all away. I really missed Eugene's energy when he was gone. I don't think that I'm going to miss Ned's energy. He was always either milk toast, saccharine or a very weird macho that made no sense. Part of me wants a 4th Try Guy to take Ned's place, but part of me wants the guys to just try being a trio for a while.

He seems like a nice guy, has already been in a ton of vids and adds some needed diversity.

His use of the word consensual on his statement is something I've been chewing on. Maybe it was but I'd be willing to bet money that other creepy workplace shit starts coming out when the investigate.
