Fergie is on the red carpet at the Venice Film Festival as we speak so we'll see if she says anything to the press. I'd be surprised if she didn't say anything. She is the thirstiest of royals. |

So I just googled the plan for when she dies - this is very interesting: The new monarch would host a meeting with the prime minister and then deliver a speech to the nation at 6 p.m., the evening following the Queen's death. With BBC stopping the broadcast until then is...interesting ohhhhhhhhhh |

Someone on IG said that the BBC reporters have been instructed to change into all black clothing (not sure if that’s true or just someone hoping for attention) No, that is part of the plan for when the queen passes. |

I definitely don't think there's much, if anything, they haven't planned for. And I totally understand a feeling of relief for that stage to be nearing an end. It's the whole world watching and waiting for it that would bother me. I know they're used to the press, but it's such sensitive moments as these that would make being a royal and in the public eye so awful.

Sameeeee I was thinking it was just starting school Time 😂 Very much same. I’m don’t know anything about British schools but I would assume the day is almost over. I’m glad they don’t still have the whole day, like I originally thought. |

I feel like with the kids - they'll probably be missing more school and in the middle of one of the biggest media spectacles in a long time. Let them have a semi-normal first day at a brand new school.

Honestly, I'm happy for her, in a way. Probably peacefully, of old age, after a very full life.

I didn’t even realize “God Save the King” was an option for many years. But yes, only kings for three generations at the moment. |

I think she passed early this morning now. I really was trying to hold out hope that the family would get there in time to say goodbye, but if she is already gone then it makes even more sense why Kate would stay with the kids and maybe bring them later.

I can completely understand and empathize with the feelings of sadness, especially for her family and loved ones.
I'm not sad personally at this point, that this could be the end, because all I can think of is how very full and long QE II's life has been. An amazing life, in fact. 96 years of life is a really fantastic run as is a 70-year reign.
I also think of her being ready to meet her beloved Philip.
