Max Foster is saying the Palace would tell BBC One to stop with the rolling coverage if it wasn’t serious. He said, “they wouldn’t allow this to go on” without reason. I 100% agree with this. |

I assume maybe she wants to be there when they get out in case their grandma really does die. She wants to be the one with them. It would be jarring to have the nanny pick you up and learning it’s because your grandma is gone. Oh i am not judging because I agree. I just wondered if she could go back and forth? Well is 2pm there, so maybe it’s too close to school release time. |

I’m not saying it’s all for PR, I think she really does have her children’s best interest at heart. But it also doesn’t go against her public image. I'm here. I was supposed to be in London/Paris this week for vacation. I didn't say anything because I didn't want to jinx it and then we got the stomach flu. We rescheduled for October. This will definitely make our trip interesting.
I'm sad for the family. I hope they can all get along for her final minutes/days.

The sheer number of press releases/updates etc etc feels so weird. I don’t ever remember hearing this much about all the royal family members all at once.

So I just googled the plan for when she dies - this is very interesting:
The new monarch would host a meeting with the prime minister and then deliver a speech to the nation at 6 p.m., the evening following the Queen's death.
With BBC stopping the broadcast until then is...interesting

It has to be so unnerving and frankly upsetting for the family to see the world waiting rabidly for your loved one to die. The press being staked out outside the castle grounds would send me into conniptions.
