Yes, the article mentions they did it in 2019 I think the BRF has way more global visibility and it's probably harder to just grow up and "blend in" as Prince Harry, but I'm not sure how recognizable the other European royals are within Europe But would any of us know if we passed Anne’s son on the street? Peter, yes. Viscount James, no. (I know it's S&Es kid)

And probably not either of Edward’s kids either. Even with all the time I spend in this thread I couldn’t remember if his name was Peter Phillips or Phillip Peters 😂

Tbh I’m not really sure if I’ve ever noticed Will hanging out with much of anyone other than occasional family stuff with Kate and the kids unless it’s a royal event or engagement 🤔 To be honest we don’t see much of any of them. The ones we’ve seen of Harry and eugenie were in America There used to be a lot of paparazzi photos of Harry and Eugenie going to London clubs in their twenties, or those weird shots of them driving away from restaurants at night. I know they run in the same overall friend group, but I don’t think Will and Kate did/do. I’m sure they had more freedom, especially when Eugenie was living in New York.

Definitely not most of the internet 🤪

Even with all the time I spend in this thread I couldn’t remember if his name was Peter Phillips or Phillip Peters 😂 My takeaway from all this is that clearly this was a missed opportunity by Anne to name her son after her father. It probably would have been easier to remember his name if it was Philip Phillips.

And her son is piiiiiissed. He interviewed today saying his children have been “harmed” by the decision. The interview was in Paris as that’s where they live.

Yeah I just skimmed an article that says he said it had been discussed but he was under the impression they would lose he title on their 25th birthdays… but was only told it would be so soon five days ago.

This feels like the right place to let everyone know I'm in London today and tomorrow and have meetings near Buckingham Palace. As royal as i get.

I don’t believe for one second granny had altruistic motives for stripping the titles.
Titles are dumb and I don’t care, but lol to “I did it out of love!”

They weren't being trotted out all over like Will and Harry, although maybe things would have been different without all the public specifically of their parent's divorce and the trauma and public displays surrounding Diana's death and funeral Anne's kids weren't being used as pawns to deflect from her bad behavior/negative press either, at least not that I can recall I think they also are so far down the line of succession that there was less public interest in them. I mean, Anne just refuses to let the rota at her events and it’s “ok.” Harry and Meghan complain about the rota and it launches a huge problem. I think those lower in the succession from birth just have less interest. Peter did do a milk ad though, so apparently there is some interest.

Kates brother named one of his puppies “Bertie” after the Queens dad and donated him (and the money) to become a guide dog. http://instagr.am/p/CjDsPvKIvxW I always love puppy pics

Which is why I loved Meghan explaining why she had such a problem with the Rota

QEII's official cause of death has been released. Which, no surprise there. It also confirms the time of death (3:10pm) was well before Wills, et al, got there (around 5pm), so all the nonsense about Harry arriving too late to see his dying granny unlike Wills is exactly that, nonsense, as only Charles and Anne were there at the time.

Now I'm questioning the notification timeline again. Were they told when they landed? I have no idea how long it takes to fly to Aberdeen, UK geography is not my strength.
