Nature really has a sense of poetry. I know it's pretty typical Scottish weather, but it's pouring rain there now. It certainly fits the general mood.

Clearly, I don't royal except for mostly commenting on fashion/tiaras et al, but it's going to be so weird to hear "God Save the King."

Are the kids in Europe with Harry and Meghan? Maybe Meghan is staying with the kids. They don't seem to want the kids around his family, but she may need to explain things to Archie.

Do we know that anything will be said at 6, or just assuming that might happen since BBC suspended regular broadcasting until 6?

I can’t stop thinking about King George (allegedly?) technically died of overdose of pain meds bc his doctors wanted to be sure they could announce it in morning vs the evening papers.

I am sure Meghan will be there for services et al. She doesn't really know the Queen, and perhaps they are respecting wishes we aren't aware of.

Glad I'm watching Sky News, then, despite their previous mistake on who was traveling when. They've made no speculation on her not going, only reporting the update that she is not. Come to think of it, they haven't really mentioned Kate either. I appreciate this rather restrained reporting. Eta- I take it back. But someone talking on it now is only speculating she is staying away because Kate is, leaving it to just the grandsons travelling (which makes sense). At least they're not being scandalous about it. |
