Going against my previous declaration for a hot minute, but even when people do interact with you in good faith, philo , you still go immediately to an 11 when you aren't received exactly as you'd like. You're consistently rotten, even to your supporters. Which is your right! And of course we can only control how we, as individuals, interact and respond! Honestly, I had totally forgotten about the gun thing, too. But there were people that tried to see where you were coming from, even with that. I don’t get out much. My only interaction with her has pretty much been in here. My opinion has been mostly on this vacuum, and it’s not been favorable. I think we all have various disagreements in her daily, but nobody comes in so fucking hot, as philo . To me, she reads “trying hard to bring drama.” She’s that “I will fight anyone about anything” meme. I've argued the most in these threads. Did so in this one to be exact and yet I can talk to some respectfully even if over here I am at an 11. That is why I am received a way even when arguing by everyone besides 1 person |

I still hate it for Harry. He earned his uniform. I agree. It sucks. Unfortunately Andrew also technically served in a war and earned a uniform. That being said, I don’t see a reason for Harry not to wear his. Sure, he’s not a working royal, but he served and this is bullshit. It’s obvious why Andrew should be nowhere at all. I thought Harry wanted the military to be his career and QEII was like nope and pulled him, but that's also why he goes so hard for all his military & veteran causes. I don't know, I think his treatment of being stripped of all those accomplishments/causes sucks the most of his leaving the family as a working royal (security/safety not included). |

He wasn't for Philip's funeral too right? I feel like no one was in uniform for that because of Andrew. Maybe I’m making that up. Am I allowed to blame Andrew for everything ? 😂 I think it was because PrincePhilip specifically said he did not want a state funeral. It was both private and during Covid, so it was a a low-key funeral and they all wore their “non-working” clothing. |

I would love to know more about Tim Laurence. Like how their relationship has worked for so long. For them , since 1992 seems like a really long time. And she seems just so headstrong, does she dominate the relationship or are they both that way and just butt heads then kiss and make up?

Zara sucks, right? I remember looking her because she seemed chill and is all about the horses but then she was outed for some racist comments? Her husband definitely sucks, so I assume she does, too. As problematic as Andrew & Fergie are, H+M seem to be pretty close to both Bea & Eugenie and M mentioned in the Oprah interview that Fergie welcomed her in and helped her with the curtsey initially. |

I think monitoring how the public writ large is reacting to this is important as we talk about monarchy, it's use, it's continuation, and all that.
It's a popular refrain that the public doesn't want them. Then we see what happens with major events such as the boys' weddings, the jubilee, the funeral. It's never going to be everyone, and that's an idiotic thing to have to asterisk, but it's more than I was expecting to be frank.
It has me evaluating how much of that is lip service, because clearly there is great public sentiment.
Like many people say they hate the Kardashians, and the ratings are better than ever. Etc.

So do you think Charles had to practice not singing "God Save the _____" since he's always had to out of habit? Charles is so interesting to me because his poker face is not good. This morning was the first time it had been sang in his presence (officially) and he was clearly a little choked up. |

I turned on the BBC truly for no reasons other than idle curiosity and my deep love of the Scottish accent. It is SO WEIRD to see Charles playing anything other than second fiddle.
