Help me pack food so I don't live off pre- packaged junk.
I space out my clients with an hour between lessons, and an often out of the house for 3-5hrs at a time. Only sometimes do I manage to get back to the house for a quick bite. Often times, I end up at a random store for a bathroom break and then buy some random snack to keep down the hunger pangs. I've been noticing that I'm eating less, but also less healthy. We eat pretty clean at home, but it's hard to bring along fresh food when it's 90°F and sitting in a car all day.
Should I be packing sandwiches? Or bringing a cooler to keep things fresh in the car?

Yes definitely pack a little cooler bag! I do this sometimes if I have a bunch of errands to run or am going to the beach and want some decent snack options while it's super hot outside.
Cheese sticks, hummus and veggies and/or pretzels, fruit, yogurt, sandwiches are things I throw in there. Extra water. A can of seltzer.

I'm pretty good about packing an insulated bottle of water, and i have Panera's Sip Club so I can swing by and grab an extra drink, but their food is crazy $$$. I'll have to find a cooler and start packing better food. I like your ideas

Even if it’s a bigger cooler that’s fine. You could even freeze or store beverages in it to keep the food cold.
Veggies Fruit Laughing cow cheese and crackers Cottage cheese, tomato, cucumber and pepper with crackers Yogurt, fruit, granola, pb2 Rice cake and nut butter
Tuna salad and crackers Wraps (lettuce, cheese, lunch meat) are quick to make and store. Salmon and greens is my favorite for left overs for lunch.
