How far along are you? 36 weeks
How big is baby? Feels frigin gigantic but the app tells me a papaya, wut?? A papaya is not big
Any appointments this week? Yes, Friday! Then weekly after that
How are you feeling? OMG, done just done. I'm sitting at my desk right now literally feeling like my stomach might just burst or if I stuck a pin in it, I would pop! WTF?!! The pressure is unreal. The constant urge and having to pee that I mentioned in randoms is absurd.
Vents/questions/concerns: I can't believe I now have hemmies a few weeks before delivery, seems so cruel. I'm terrified now of pushing and breaking my butt, lol. My stomach feels huge, uncomfortable and I'm exhausted. These last few weeks suuuuuccckkk
QOTW: What has been most surprising to you this pregnancy? (can be symptom related, emotional, random, etc!!) How nervous I still am. I thought I would be calm and collected the second go around but I think I'm worse this time? All my symptoms this pregnancy seem magnified by 100 with my first so that has been shitty. But I will say I'm really grateful I have had a healthy pregnancy to date. I know the physical symptoms suck but compared to what others go through, I need to check myself

How far along are you? 36 weeks
How big is baby? A cabbage patch doll but more chubby
Any appointments this week? Tomorrow, I'm officially seeing the doc weekly!
How are you feeling? Large. Everything hurts. Ready to give birth.
Vents/questions/concerns: I'm nervous about having 3u3. Like how am I going to manage 3 kids? I'm terrified.
QOTW: What has been most surprising to you this pregnancy? (can be symptom related, emotional, random, etc!!) It's been so different than my previous pregnancies, some in good ways and some in not good ways. Also the feeling that I'm 100% done having kids after this one. I was wondering before if/when I would know that we are done and after this one I am completely done and completely happy with that decision.

How far along are you? 35+1
How big is baby? A bunch of carrots? That seems small. Or a kids backpack, which seems large.
Any appointments this week? Tomorrow, then weekly
How are you feeling? Big, uncomfortable, peeing constantly, sleeping poorly, heartburn, hemorrhoids - which I never had the first time and I'm not a fan (though I suppose no one would be). And surprisingly unprepared. I finally washed the car seat and brought stuff up from the basement. But we have done basically nothing for this kid. I don't really even care. Maybe that nesting urge will show up soon...?
Vents/questions/concerns: Not this week
QOTW: What has been most surprising to you this pregnancy? How fast it went. And how I'm 99% sure we're done after this kiddo, so I'm trying to enjoy the good parts.

How far along are you? 35+5
How big is baby? A bunch of carrots (I don't really get this one) but I had an u/s on Friday and they said around 6 pounds.
Any appointments this week? Not until August 3rd then weekly from there.
How are you feeling? Big and tired. Swollen feet and hands have become the norm along with 4 trips to the bathroom a night (12, 2, 4, and 6)
Vents/questions/concerns: I almost fell big time today and it's freaking me out. I had a plate of tacos in one hand and a glass of water in the other hand. DH left a stool out and I didn't see it. I tripped and started screaming. DH said it was in slow motion for him. In hind sight I should have dropped the glass (it was plastic and full of water) but I managed to hold on to the plate and glass though I spilled water everywhere and hit the chair hard with my hip. So now my hip hurts, my head hurts, and my heart is still pounding.
QOTW: What has been most surprising to you this pregnancy? (can be symptom related, emotional, random, etc!!) That's a hard one. I guess I'm surprised by how much stuff we've bought and gotten and I still don't feel like we have everything we need.

How far along are you? 36+1
How big is baby? Double papayas
Any appointments this week? OB on Wednesday, MFM for growth and BPP on Thursday
How are you feeling? I guess okay. Still not done with prepping stuff. My feet are getting really swollen over the past few days which prevents me from doing most tasks which is frustrating.
Vents/questions/concerns: Nothing really - just trying to be mindful of symptoms so I can make it to the hospital in time if things happen quickly.
QOTW: What has been most surprising to you this pregnancy? (can be symptom related, emotional, random, etc!) Most surprising is obviously the spontaneous twins. Surprised that in many aspects I've felt much better this time around than with my first. The constant baby movements and being able to tell them apart is pretty cool.

jt2378 I had hemroids before delivery and holy hell did it make them worse. But I also pushed for 3 hours. I'd be in no pain if it weren't for them. Not to scare you but try and treat them now!

Alexa is such a good baby that it scares me. I keep worrying something is wrong. She is finally waking up to eat MOTN, after I burp her she goes back to sleep. No fussing unless she has gas and a change in position quiets her. I'm not complaining I just remember walking around w my niece for hours while she screamed her head off as an infant.
Went to the pedi Sat, she only gained 1/2 oz. Weight check tomorrow, I think she gained this time. She's been eating more. I've basically been pumping only, I like BFing but this way I can see exactly how much she eats.

yoshijo, I pushed for almost 2 so I'm scared this time too. I'm loading up on prep h right now! Lol I'm glad Alexa is a good baby! I do remember the first couple weeks thinking the same and then she woke up and wasn't as sleepy 😛 not trying to make you nervous, just saying enjoy the quiet easy time right now. There are big growth spurts at 3 and 6 weeks that I remember were tough

How far along are you? 36 weeks!
How big is baby? A cabbage patch doll
Any appointments this week? The weekly appts start on Friday! Unfortunately, it was just announced my favorite OB at the practice is leaving the week before my due date. Boo. The other 2 are great doctors too, just different personalities. Curious to see who is on call when it's go time!
How are you feeling? Tired, sore, having trouble sleeping. My belly is falling out of the bottom of most of my shirts.
Vents/questions/concerns: My H is super slammed with work and his school assignments (finishing up his Masters). His pre-baby to do list has not been worked on bc he's too busy. And I'm doing solo toddler care every day. Not great timing to be super pregnant and about to have a baby!
QOTW: What has been most surprising to you this pregnancy? (can be symptom related, emotional, random, etc!!) I feel like I never got a good burst of pregnancy energy. And emotionally I have not been moody at all like I was with DS. I have been exceptionally calm.

Oh also, the places where I had stitches after delivering DS are sore. I'm guessing because DD is sitting so low and everything is swollen. But oh man, it's making me nervous about delivering her!

How far along are you? 37+1 How big is baby? A tackle box Any appointments this week? Saw the OB on Monday for my weekly and had the GBS swab done. Will have those results next week. Tomorrow I see the MFM for one more scan to check baby girl's kidney. Crossing all crossables that it looks ok. How are you feeling? Large and uncomfortable (what else is new? lol). Trying to get all the last minute stuff done before I say I'm ready for her to come out. Vents/questions/concerns: We still aren't 100% set on a name and it's stressing me the hell out QOTW: What has been most surprising to you this pregnancy? (can be symptom related, emotional, random, etc!!) The amount of unsolicited comments/advice this time around. I didn't really experience that with DS, but I feel like every day with this one I get some sort of weird comment.

How far along are you? 36 weeks today!
How big is baby? Ripe papaya
Any appointments this week? Yes today!
How are you feeling? Crappy, but holding it together!
Vents/questions/concerns: curious about my BP it's been rising all week, plus the other symptoms that are popping up. I am also hoping to get a game plan forward, basically I am hoping to just set an induction date and be done.
QOTW: What has been most surprising to you this pregnancy? (can be symptom related, emotional, random, etc!!). Lol it has definitely been a different pregnancy than last time. My symptoms are different (morning sickness, side pain) sleeping has also been horrendous.

Hi everyone
I am 39+1 today and so done with being pg.
Next appointment is Friday but I really hope I have a baby before then!
I am just do uncomfortable with my hip pain and now nausea and headaches. My doctor's aren't concerned because my BP is always low and protein has never been a problem. Plus I have zero swelling.
My in-laws are up my ass and it is driving me crazy. I am glad they are excited but I need them to stay away until I am home from the hospital. They were too much last time and are on track to be crazy again. Plus they want to spend time with my daughter. One is retired the other is a teacher. You had all summer to come and see her, right after I give birth is not ideal for me! End rant.
Q:. The pain! Last time I was so active up until I was induced. This time around I went from feeling like I could run to gimp over night at 34.5 weeks. So did not see that coming!

jt2378, the size comparisons have thrown me for a loop so many times already this pregnancy.. I thought they were cute but now I don't even pay attention to them no more lol. Hope your appointment went well yesterday! I had some pretty bad hemmies (ahh that types so much easier then having to think about the proper English spelling haha!) early on that were sooo painful.. I still have some but now they don't bother me no more. I wonder but hope that'll be the case after labor still too but ahhhh prolly not. Not sure whether there's anything I could do now to prevent things.. What is prep H?? unicornsparkles, *hugs* kristyw, for me the first bit of the pregnancy went soooo slow, but then suddenly zoooof we're at the end. It's so weird! I feel incredibly unprepared as well. king26, hah my overnight bathroom breaks are spaced exactly the same! And I'm so sorry for your tripping scare! I hope you're not feeling too sore by now?? happyfeet9, I hate how physical crap like my heart/ankle/bump are preventing me from being as active and doing as much as I'd like to do. I feel like things will never get done! So frustrating. GL with the BPP today! yoshijo, ahh that was info about your hemmies I could have done without *grins* I just don't want to know what could possibly happen down there, considering I already have had them and pretty big ones too for all of my pg!! Aaaaaaaah pennylane, oh what a shame about your fav OB is leaving the practice! And I'm sorry YH is so busy with work/school and hasn't had a lot of time for baby prep. Sounds similar to MHs work schedule, it's frustrating and sometimes stressing me out but even little bits here and there will eventually lead to the final end result hopefully! jexxa, I hope the scan goes well today and baby's kidneys got a-okayed! cwbh928, good luck with your appointment today. How have you been feeling these past days? yellowcat, ugh sorry about your grandparents! Not something you should have to deal with right now. And omgosh you're so close! FX baby won't keep you wiating fr too much longer, especially since you're feeling so miserable.

How far along are you?37 weeks exactly today How big is baby? The size comparisons no longer make sense to me so I stopped paying attention to those hah. But, at our last u/S on the 17th baby weighted 2.6kg (5lb11oz) Any appointments this week?Had an MFM appointment on Tuesday which was uneventful. I was supposed to go on weekly appointments from now on but for some reason he said it was fine to see me in 2 weeks. I hadn't seen him since late May, as he's been away and a collegue OB took over my appointments. I'm not sure how I feel about that. He did read my chart and about the scares we had with baby decelling and the low amniotic fluid but I feel like maybe he's skimmed to much or such? Either way, I would feel better if I had another appointment in between.. just for peace of mind? How are you feeling? With everything going on, and then my mum ending up in the hospital with heart issues and what not, I feel like I'm stretched too thin emotionally, am thoroughly overwhelmed with pretty much everything and I'm a mess. But, it'll pass... Vents/questions/concerns:See above on the not getting weekly appointments? QOTW: What has been most surprising to you this pregnancy? (can be symptom related, emotional, random, etc!!) Maybe naive but I hadn't expected PgAL/PAIF brain to be so persistant throughout the pregnancy. I had expected it to be really present early on in the pregnancy but guess I had hoped/thought it'd go away after we passed most milestones?

Just got back from my pregnancy massage. It was blissful. The place had a planned power outage so during that time we were allowed to go use the outdoor pool which they never allow so we had an awesome day. Spent an hour in the natural spring baths and spa place, an hour massage, and hour in the lounge (where I had organic hot tea, spa water, trail mix, and fresh fruit while reading my book) then the 2 hours at the pool. Such a nice day for our birthdays! (DH and I bought massages for each other)

Getting close ladies! How's it going this week?
How far along are you? 36 weeks
How big is baby? Not sure. About 5 lbs estimated 2 weeks ago
Any appointments this week? NST Wednesday which he passed and then obgyn today with GBS swab and ultrasound. He is head down, thankfully.
How are you feeling? So tired and large, but other than that, okay.
Vents/questions/concerns: I got so nervous at the drs appt today. I don't know what's wrong with me. He had been moving a ton about an hour earlier and then I think fell asleep and I couldn't shake the anxiety. He was perfectly fine. I think it was partly that dh's work had just thrown us a shower--they were so nice and generous, but somehow I felt like it jinxed me going straight from the shower to the appt. Annoyed at myself for being so absurd.
QOTW: What has been most surprising to you this pregnancy? (can be symptom related, emotional, random) I guess the level of tiredness! With the pregnancy for DS1 I was crazy nesting by this stage and I've barely done anything this time.

king26 - that sounds AMAZING! I would love to have a day like that. I had one prenatal massage a few weeks ago and it sucked 😒 I think my therapist just sucked but I decided not to waste any more money and go back afterwards for some relaxation time after he's born. My Dr appt was today- my BP was higher than normal but I also was rushing bc I thought my appt was at 1:40 and I was casually walking over after finding parking and they called being like... your appt was at 1:20? I felt like a moron and waddle-ran the rest of the way there. Plus it was like 90*. They took it three times and I was like ten min is not enough time for my BP to calm down after rushing over here in 90*.... oh well. They let me go home. 🤷🏻♀️
