I truly believe that unless you're sitting still all day, 1200 calories is unhealthy. i think even sitting, you need more. Like if you're laying in bed, not moving, then 1,200 might be ok.

I finished my day with 110 calories remaining in my budget. I would have eaten more but I'm beyond tired and sleep sounded more appealing. Tomorrow I will give you all my favorite shake recipe, which you're welcome to ignore. You may try it and find it's delightful, however.

I feel like I'm doing something right this time because I haven't been "starving" this time. I'm hungry but not like I usually feel

I ate 1700 calories last night womp womp. It was all extra protein caps so I need toup my protein during the day and hopefully prevent going over on calories. I've decided that 1200 is way to low for me I get low blood sugar feeling towards the end of day. I think I might set mine to 1500. I do have a meeting with the coach today so hopefully that will provide some more info on what I need to be doing.

I know I am the only one doing it, but it putting my daily food here is keeping me mindful.
Breakfast: Shake Morning snack: cheese stick (we have a meeting so I really hope there are no dougnuts) Lunch: Leftover lemon Dijon porkchops, sweet potatoes, zucchini, and cutie Afternoon snack: greek yogurt ranch dip with carrots and cucumbers Dinner: Lemon herb baked cod with steamed broccoli
I still have about 300 calories for the day so depending on how I feel I may do fruit or something after dinner

I start at 1200, but with my steps each day I seem to earn those 400-500 extra back. I've ended up on slightly over each day.
The quality of my food sucks tho. Need to work on that.

I completely forgot! So I go and get some ice out of the freezer and there are freeakin dove bars that my SO snuck in. I was very WTF you are supposed to be supporting me and this is a huge trigger. It took every ounce of self control but I got my water and went straight upstairs to bed. I thought about that ice cream bar for a good 15 minutes before I finally got over it. It was incredibly hard to control my urge to eat one. I'm pretty proud of myself.

My favorite shake is a chocolate whey protein powder, ice, a splash of water, a few sprinkles of cinnamon, and a banana blended in a blender.
I use the cytosport brand (I think) bc they sell it at Costco and H and I go through that stuff. Before I committed to the big bag, I tried the small cans of a different brand that were available at TJs. The banana is important for consistency- it makes the shake creamier. The cinnamon just adds extra flavor. It is so good- like a milkshake. The shake is about 250 calories and it keeps me full for a while.
PS these are all green foods, if you care about that.

Also, if you're hurting from the extra roughage, I'm sorry. I promise you that will get significantly better within a week to ten days. I know that seems like a long time and you may experience bloating or even weight gain during that time. This is normal. If you can hang in there and get past that, you'll feel significantly better and far less belly bloat (even than your baseline self) by the two week mark.

I keep the premier protein drinks on hand from costco. They chocolate is good when it's cold, and it's an easy grab and go. It's a yellow rating, but is 30 grams of protein in 160 calories and 1 gram of sugar.

I have to say, I have been doing research on the ability to lose weight gained through Lexapro and it's not encouraging. Bums me out a bit. I'm on zoloft and everything I read is it makes it really tough to lose weight. However, the list of side effects is loss of appetite and weight loss 🤔. I'm also on vyvanse which definitely suppresses my appetite but I've been on this stuff for 10 years it isn't as effective. I basically don't eat as much when I take it compared with out it I eat like a goat. I remember when I started adderal in high school I lost 25 pounds. I wish that would happen now. Sigh.

I have to say, I have been doing research on the ability to lose weight gained through Lexapro and it's not encouraging. Bums me out a bit. I was going to start a discussion on this. I'm concerned about this too as I set my goal weight to be a weight I felt comfortable at previously (several years ago 😳) and I'm wondering if it's possible now that I'm on Celexa daily. I upped my dosage about 18 months ago and I'm wondering if I can back off that now since I'm not going through the stressful situations I was then and I've gained new coping skills in therapy. But I'll never be able to stop it completely. That's just not realistic with my level of anxiety. But I want to be skinny. ðŸ˜

You have PM HilarityEnsued , BTW, new favorite snack. I got a grande iced non fat latte, but when I got home I blended it up in my Magic Bullet with ice, cinnamon and honey. It's like a sad girls frappacino. I wonder if they would do that for me at SBX? I bet they would or have something similar

Has anyone had issues with entering in meals/food that isn't in Noom's database? (I'm using the Apple iOS version)
I've created new foods and been asked calories to log. Then it asks me if I have more, and I do, so I say yes. They it asks me for Total Fat, Carbohydrates, Sodium, Sugar. No ask about Sat Fat or Protein. That seems like not a complete picture. Is anyone being asked different macros when making a new food?

Like, I saved my smoothie but I can't find it when I try to enter it. no clue. I think maybe you could build a recipe and then add it that way? I'm struggling with the app, man.
