Huge thing happened tonight. I completely forgot SO had a work dinner tonight so after I put the gremlin to bed I was browsing uber eats. I did not feel like cooking. Anyways, I put my phone down and powered through and currently waiting for the oven to ding so I can eat! Congrats!! I know that feeling of accomplishment. I used to look so forward to ordering all the spicy tuna rolls and shrimp tempora when my husband had late meetings. I have since reigned it in when I realized just how many calories eating all that in one sitting by myself was.

I had a big accomplishment yesterday too.
Came home and went to do the dishes from that morning and lunch and my sink wouldn't drain. By the time I got it looked up and working and the dishes washed I was not feeling cooking. So said he would go pick something up, but I told him he could for them, but I had some leftover taco meat and one of my meal prepped lunches so I ate the lunch last night and stayed in calories!

I would one million times rather talk about dieting than infidelity. Yes, I know. You guys can call me to the carpet for bringing shit from another thread here. Idc. Dieting is my safe space. I am laughing because this is me now. You have rubbed off on me.

I had a good day yesterday. And for the 3rd night in a row I didn't have anything to eat after dinner. Snacking at night is one of my biggest downfalls. I can plan during the day and dinners, but there are so many nights where it all goes out the window because I sit down with a bag of chips. I had two glass of wine before/with dinner and was thinking "I want a 3rd and a snack". Instead I brushed my teeth and washed my wine glass. I ended my day at 1900 calories, which with my activity put me 200 under for the day. Today's plan: B: breakfast burrito S: yogurt L: chicken/rice/veggies S: ants on a log D: veggie burger or turkey sandwich
Who uses a Fitbit with the HR monitor? How much do you trust the calorie burn?

But I also would check my activities on other calculators or lists to find an average

HilarityEnsued, that sucks. I was asked if I was expecting by a stranger in an elevator last summer. I was 9 mos postpartum and had lost the "baby weight", but still look KU the week before my period. I told her no and then we rode in silence. Normally I'd say something like "but I did just have a baby, so maybe that's why you think that" and try to make it less awkward. But fuck her. Let her stand there in her awkwardness. Your manicurist sucks at social situations and her job.

I had a slice of pie last night. It was good and only one slice. Normally I would eat 2 slices so it was good practice for self control. Anyways, food scale and protein powder arrives today so I'm excited about that!

HilarityEnsued I get asked that a lot. I carry all my weight in my stomach and hips and, well, if I'm not careful in how I dress, I do look pregnant. It sucks.

Day 5 of the cleanse and I'm doing better again. Yesterday just sucked but I think I am also fighting off a cold and overdid it at yoga on Tuesday.
I get 5 small meals today so it will feel like I'm stuffing myself. I'm glad I stuck with it. I feel less bloated and have lost 2.5 lbs in 4 days. I only lost 4 all of July, so this was a good kickstart for me. My RTR comes tonight and I'm excited and nervous. 😬

Oh and I hit a milestone this week.
25 lbs lost!!!
20 more to go to goal. It's been 3.5 months and I'm giving myself 4 months to get to goal. I know this second half is going to be more difficult so I need all the motivation I can get.

HilarityEnsued I've been asked that a lot lately and it helped to kickstart my need to do this too.

I almost ate a cookie last night, but talked myself out of it and stuck with water. They were calling to me. Instead I went to bed early and got up this morning at 5 for a run. It felt good to hold strong even though no one was watching....but when I really thought about it, the only person I would be cheating is myself.
Currently drinking my green breakfast smoothie and planning on hitting up a grocery store to get something for breakfast and lunch tomorrow. I have a lunchtime event tomorrow for an intern I have been supervising/mentoring this summer and I know it will just be sandwiches and chips (and I am avoiding bread right now)—so I need to make sure I have good, healthy food to eat before and after so I can successfully hold out while there.

Nice work, @juliagulia! I'm a little bummed because we were both Team 45 and you actually got to the hard work and I didn't do shit. But I hope to be right behind you, down 25 within 4 months.

brux and all please to also remember this is my umpteenth attempt at getting healthy. I'm now back to the weight I was last July after my whole 30. Now I'll be tackling the weight I have carried since probably 2013.

If I'm down 25 lbs in 4 months then I will also be treating myself to some indulgences... most notably various forms of facial/anti-aging procedures. I was just thinking of the cool sculpting I might need to get when I hit my goal weight and I still have annoying pockets of fat hanging out in undesirable places. Lol.

I've definitely considered this. I have autoimmune issues that make working out a challenge and I'm supposed to avoid sweating. It's killer. : (

I ended up eating my snack late since it was full of protein so that I can skip on that extra piece of whatever they serve at the dinner

I'm brux. I'm in my later 30s, mom to one boy and wife to one man.
I have wanted to lose weight, drop a clothing size (or 3!), look better in a bikini since at least 22. I've never been comfortable in my body. As I get older, I'm much more accepting of the flaws and much more confident...but also I'm fatter.
I want to lose weight to get back into dressing to be cute instead of dressing because it fits or because it masks my chub. I also want to challenge myself a little bit to see if I can get comfortable in a two piece swim suit for the first time ever.
