Laying in bed, playing on my phone last night before I went to sleep and DD was going mental as usual, but she was punching (I think) my left hip and kicking my right side right up the top by my ribs. Was a strange feeling and I was feeling breathless by the end of it lol Wait for it. It gets way worse. Towards the end when they stretch and you can legit see a limb travel across your belly. It's creepy, cool and painful all at once.

I legit grabbed a little foot at one stage, that was about 34 weeks I think!

Just had my midwife apt, measuring 2 weeks ahead (no surprise to me at all)
Because it was a new midwife, that's just started in our area, she didn't know my previous pregnancy notes or current notes. She wanted to bring my GD test forward by like a week, which is pointless in my mind and it would have been SO much for me to sort out to just change 1 appointment. So I just said no, and very politely said I'm not worried, this is exactly like my sons pregnancy, and I passed the GD test with flying colours, myself and H just make big babies. She got a second opinion and that midwife wasn't half as worried as she heard what I said.
I've got DD's private 4D scan less than 2 weeks, they do all sorts there and do and estimated weight, so I'll be sure to find that out!

My hips and lower back are killing me tonight. My belly exploded this week and I am feeling it. It's too early for this much discomfort. Please, universe, do not let me go to 40 weeks. In other news though, we went to BJ's tonight to look at the playset again. The website said there were none in store, but the manager dragged one out of the back somehow, so we now have three enormous boxes in our garage that is a disassembled playset. H took tomorrow off work so he can put it together. I hope E loves it! Those playsets are no joke to assemble. Good luck to YH lol Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

Oh, I have been watching what I eat a little better and trying to walk more. My weight gain isn't bad recently. However, I am only 4 lbs away from my delivery weight from J. Ugh. I started out 5 lbs higher for this pregnancy. All things considered, it isn't bad.
Oh, and I have an addiction to mcflurries now. My hotel was next to a McDonald's last week. I was still hungry after my flight and got my first one. Amazing. I have now had three in a week. D wanted McDonald's after we had the ob appointment.

cdnfarmgirl I take Lansoprazole (generic form of Prevacid) and it works wonders. Took it with my last pregnancy as well. Only 1 a day and absolutely no heartburn. I'm sure if you call your OB they can prescribe it over the phone without having you come in.

The toddler spilled a whole cup of milk all over the kitchen and himself this morning. He grabbed the cup before I could put the top on. It got all over the place and he cried saying "oh no messy baby"! 😂🙁 It was so sad but so cute. He helped me clean it and when I told him it was ok he said "I'm ok" through little sniffles.

Good morning, ladies! I woke up early this morning and went to the gym. Just did some walking and some exercises to help with my LBP but it feels good! Nice work! I've been slacking the last two weeks with getting exercise. If it's done raining here, I'd like to try to go for a 3-4 mile walk. It's nice and cool still, so I won't have to worry about the heat.

I've been really terrible lately, too. Every week I promise myself that I'm going to up my exercise game (from nothing, lol) and I never do it. But I'm going to try to keep up with the walking and some light strength training from now on.

I have an appointment with the high risk doctor tomorrow. It takes two hours. What will they do? It is likely that you will have a full anatomy scan and work up which should take about an hour, and then probably they scheduled an hour for a consult with the doctor. Just guessing based on experience.

Just guessing based on experience. When we went, we sat down with a genetic counselor for about 30 minutes or so to talk about family medical history and risk for things based on my age, etc. Then, the level 2 ultrasound took close to an hour. Afterwards, the doctor came in, took a few additional pictures, and talked about what he saw.

The two of us built a multi level wrap around deck on our last house and finished our basement from concrete block to an extra living room and half bath/laundry combo room. He's handy and surprisingly enough enjoys building things that come with instruction books. The deck from his brain I can do. Instruction books are where I draw the line, lol.

Good for you for trying though cnf! Hopefully the soreness goes away. OMG you guys my MIL just texted me to come over for dinner tomorrow night, I told her I can't because I take a yoga series on Wednesday's. Her response was "oh ok. I wanted to talk to the baby." I am not coming over her house so she can talk to my belly, I need to find this woman a hobby!

Potentially meeting with a genetic counselor.

I've fallen down the baby clothes rabbit hole. I bought a Halloween onesie just in case, so of course that means I will go overdue now. Also searching etsy for coming home outfits and newborn pic outfits. Anyone have anything good?
