I need to look at baby swim class schedules around here again because I really want to do it. Every baby class I've looked at before seems to be during the day or at night after his bedtime. Maybe I can find something on the weekends. Check your local Y! Mine does weekday and Saturday morning, but the Saturday mornings usually fill up quickly since the weekday class is at such a hard time.

I am not scooping this MF turtle up and carrying him (her) up to the house.
No.

sophiegrace I just saw your tag about B's snoring from this weekend...we're kind of in a holding pattern at the moment. Interestingly enough, our pedi had a similar issue with his own son, so I'm glad we went in. We decided to try an allergy med for a couple weeks to see if that made a difference and lo and behold, it did. I think that got us through the worst of allergy season and we have seen improvement since then. He still snores lightly but I'm not at the point where I want him at the ENT's having adenoids removed--that would be a worst case scenario. Our pedi said it's probably that his adenoid tissue has grown more quickly than the cavity housing it, and if seasonal allergies were bothering him, it would cause the tissue to become somewhat enlarged/irritated, hence the vibration. (I think I'm remembering all this correctly...) So anywho. I don't know if that helps you at all with miss M, but that is our experience so far. Also, sorry I'm a jerk and am just now responding!

sophiegrace must not have had any congestion because he just nursed on the left side without any issues. Weird. jubilantsquirrel where have you been?! You haven't been posting much! tjanca22 how's the jaw? +1 to wanting to do swim lessons. I never did with B and I am regretting it as I've recently discovered he's afraid of water.

flamingo I did not expect a response once I was reminded that you were in the midst of moving! Thank you! That does help. She has snored since birth, but I just recently realized that it has gotten worse since this summer bloom has started. Maybe it's a similar situation to B's? I'm going to bring it up at her 9 month, but I was more curious than worried. I appreciate your response! Edit: hit post too soon

I've been reading and love titting. My brain feels fried though and I'm having a hard time putting together sentences that make sense lately.

W's bedtime shit-nanigans continue tonight. Tuesdays he usually has swim lessons with my dad and a sleepover with my parents. I just texted my dad no sleepover tomorrow. I think it would draw out this whole returning to normal thing.
I could really use that night, tho. Damn.
I am debating if I will be able to pull together enough milk for a twin sleepover anytime soon.

The bedtime shit-nanigans have almost killed me starbuck. The only way we could combat it was to lay with him until he fells asleep. I was team never help them fall asleep but bedtime was miserable. I was dreading it all day and being much worse of a parent than I wanted at that time. Laying with him for 10 or 20 minutes was worth my sanity. I hope this phase passes quickly for you guys and he just snaps back into his routine.

I'm back from vacation. I always forget to check in here. Today was literally insane. I have met a bunch of moms of babies and toddlers with down syndrome and Monty now fetes invited to 5 or 6 events a week. My baby has a busier social life than me, lol. Today was a crazy day of errands. I'm hoping the rest of the week is less insane. I need a vacation from my vacation.

H attempted to change the oil in my car this evening. It went pretty quick but then it started leaking from the filter. He's at the store buying more oil now. I have no idea if I'm going to have a car in the morning 😐

In a few weeks he'll be in a twin and I'll probably pass out with him a few times a week! lol

starbuck and hangry Lillian will not go to sleep without one of us in there with her. She's in a toddler bed so we have to lie on the floor next to her. I usually read on my phone under a blanket, but dh almost always falls asleep and I have to go rescue him. I'm actually currently catching up while he's in there and I can hear her making noise, being a maniac. At least Lilah is asleep and went down in record time.

ETA: because the one time we had to clean oil off our driveway for months was because the rubber o-ring wasn't put back on. Oops.
