Good morning, ladies! Question for you all -
I have been researching cribs and thought I settled on one, but when H and I went to BRU to look at it this weekend, we realized it's not available in a store ANYWHERE in our area (it's online only at BBB as well). It's the Davinci Kalani, which was highly recommended by the Baby Bargains book/website and other places I researched (though not listed on Consumer Reports). However, I have concerns pulling the trigger on a crib I can't physically touch/look at before ordering it.
Does anyone here have and/or used the Kalani, or if not, do you have another crib that you recommend? Bonus if it's available in gray.
Thanks!

We ordered ours from JCPenney online. We used it for my son and then for HK 4 years later and the quality has been great. Since HK is still in hers, we obviously need to order one. I am more apprehensive this time but not sure why. I think I am over thinking it and should just pull the trigger.
We are looking at the Delta Children's Providence one. To me, I wouldn't focus too much on reviews. I think most are just fine (of course I am one not to believe in many reviews because they are usually skewed in my opinion).

We use the Potty Barn Kendall crib in gray (I love it and it's held up wonderfully - though my daughter isn't rough on her belongings). We have the babyletto pure core air mattress and I've been happy with that as well.

This is our current crib. We got it at BRU, although I see they no longer carry it there. We purposely got the converter 4 in one so we could use N's furniture up through adolescence. He will be moving from the crib to a full bed by next weekend. www.wayfair.com/Sorelle-Verona-Convertible-Crib-UO1441.htmlAs for this baby, we haven't picked anything out yet. But we will probably go with something from BRU so we can really look at it. We will also focus on the conversion beds so he can grow into it as well.

Although this crib is convertible, we decided to get a toddler bed instead. She's really excited about moving her Mickey Mouse bed into her room.

I'm no help because we bought DD's off of craigslist!! But got a new mattress from Costco. If we get another crib for this baby, it too will be second hand. I just can't justify the cost.
