ETA Nope it was Jack Reed. He was my first thought but I couldn't imagine him mispronounching Mnuchin. Maybe he does it on purpose lol

I don't think Bannon is happy with Trump right now. I wondered if this would start happening. Yup. They are starting to turn on each other. This should be interesting. I wonder how many more will be out by Friday. |

This makes me feel a little bit better.
Democrats are trying to force Pro Forma sessions through August so the Senate doesn't officially recess. This will stop Trump from making recess appointments that would bypass senate confirmation.
I am really worried about him recess appointing Joe Arpayo or The Joker as AG

Who's left standing at this point in the Trump administration? Tom Price (whom he threatened to fire yesterday), Rick Perry, Scott Pruitt, Betsy Devos? Everyone else is hanging on by a thread, right? For now, Cohn, Mnuchin and Mulvaney still seem to be in his good graces, but once the focus shifts to tax reform that will be the end of that. |

I just don't get it. There are so many unfilled jobs already and now they are trying to force more people out. Is this what he wants? No one in these positions so he can just do whatever he wants and call the shots. Can he do that?

Career civil servants will churn through as best they can without leadership. Frankly, the civil servants will do better without 45's "leaders." |
