I'm a day behind, but I'm so upset by this. I'm bisexual. I never say "ex-girlfriend" at my (liberal) job. This reinforces that. I have feelings about this...so do you say ex-boyfriend or just use a neutral pronoun? I don't lie. It actually doesn't come up often but I might say, "person I used to date" or "an ex" or something. |
