If Leia is force sensitive, Luke and Vader would have been able to sense it by now. Obviously that wasn’t in the plan when this movie was made but still. Vader was just standing near her. He should have noticed. 😂

Or they feel that she has potential, but because she has no training and has long been in the rebellion, that she's not a viable option for a new Sith. Also, Luke is still pretty early in his training. Maybe he doesn't realize what he's sensing from her. |

Vader also thinks that all his training came from Obi-Wan. So he doesn't realize that Luke literally spent two days with the guy.
