wasabi, most of the lamposts I've seen were on the same switch as the exterior lights. May not always be the case though. Dumb question, but is that a new bulb in there?

Hi. I just learned that M's dad didn't pay for his storage unit where I was storing M's bed (mine from when I was little, which may make it sound old and shitty, but it was really nice and one of my favorite furniture pieces ever) and various other things of mine. Instead of asking me for money (which I would have happily done) or giving me any sort of inkling that he didn't have the money to pay for it, he just fucking let it go. And didn't even tell me until I had to drag it out of him. So I want to drink. But I probably won't. Oh man. I would be raging. How dumb of him. I'm sorry. |

I will be in about an hour. Kids are eating dinner now and watching the angry birds movie. Bedtime starts in about 45 minutes. H doesn't get off work until 8 tonight and he's picking us up dinner on his way home.

We had a lamp post at my childhood home. My favorite thing was my dad changing the bulb to red or green at christmas and he'd let me pick which color.

harvestmoon, downtown is going to be a mess with the watch party going on too. The kids sound like they are being extra fun, but I'd take it over rain & crazy people. Agree! I actually took today and tomorrow off mostly for mental health days but also so I didn't have to deal with downtown. |

harvestmoon, H does not miss the downtown commute on days like these. Not bad once you hit the highway, but all the fuckery getting there from the parking garage always put him in a bad mood. Enjoy your days off!
