For anyone who's had a root canal on an upper tooth, did you ever have a light brownish liquid come out when you blew your nose?
I'm about 36hrs post root-canal, and I felt like my nose was about to run, so I blew my nose, and a good bit light brownish-colored liquid (not thick like mucus) came out all at once. W.T.F.
OF COURSE it's Friday night and my dentist isn't open on weekends... Dr. Google says it could be "sinus communication" (small hole in sinus lining) and would likely heal in 2-3 days. Or it could be a failed procedure (but my dentist said things came out nicely). I plan to call them Monday morning, but I'm all concerned now.
Anyone else have this happen?! 😬

My root canal was on a bottom tooth. But I would not at all be surprised by this, just given my knowledge of facial anatomy. How are you feeling?

Feeling fine other than what I would think is a standard amount of soreness on that side of my face/mouth/cheek/jaw. Well, besides the current anxiety over what just occurred.

Mine was like a decade ago so I don't really remember much, but like TJ said, it wouldn't surprise me at all. Everything in your head is connected in some way lol
